This has some nice suspense but the book wasn’t nice to read with all the vulgarity and sexual innuendos.
I like to try new authors from time to time and sadly I won’t be reading any more of this author’s books.

I really enjoyed getting into this world and how good the use of the killer was in this world. I thought the plot was so well done and had me on the edge of my seat from the first page. Sawyer Black has a strong writing style and was glad I got into this thriller novel. It was engaging and was glad I read this.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading it! It had fast action scenes, high suspense, murder, mystery, intriguing characters, and some shocking moments! The storyline was interesting! With this in mind, I would still read future works by this author. I think this particular book just wasn’t my favorite.

The writing style was not my favorite, but the pacing was decent and the character development was interesting

I just kept pushing through and after about getting to 40% twice, I had to stop pushing

I think this is great for action and thriller lovers, especially those who don’t mind books that are written in slightly past tense. It made me feel a little bit detached I think versus first person where I can feel like I’m wearing more of a helmet.

I don’t know if that makes any sense but this specific writing style took my brain a bit longer to grasp what was happening and because of that it was a bit more of a tiring read, and I didn’t feel like I gained more description from it unfortunately and I think that was my main irk with this one.
