I do think this book could have benefited with photos showing examples, but overall there's a lot of great advice here. I've read several books about organizing because it's a constant personal struggle for me, and what makes this book stand out for me is the emphasis on planning-- don't just start organizing, look at your home and its different areas and really think first about what might work best for you personally.

Tidying Up : 100 Ways to Infuse Order and Joy into Every Area of Your Home. This is a basic organising book suitable to those new to the subject. It is better in paper format rather than digital due to the layout. Disappointingly there are no pictures just a colour scheme. If you have read any books like this before it will not add anything new but it is easy to read and well structured.

This is an amazing book with tons of tips and tricks for organizing and cleaning up our homes. No matter the size of your home, the tips will help with clutter and ways to store what we want to keep.
Definitely a book that so many of us need to read and take notes on.

I love books on tidying up and I think I’ve read all of them. This one is definitely more of an organizing book than a cleaning book. There are no photos, just large text and a rather jarring color scheme along the margins of most pages (blocks of blue, yellow, teal, red and salmon shapes). The book starts with how to organize your laundry room, then your pantry, and so on. They do recommend buying lots of things, even expensive purchases like cabinets to replace shelves for your laundry room. There are numbered tips for every section but they tend to be either common sense or personal preference.
I ultimately only read about half of the book before giving up on it because it didn’t offer anything helpful for me, but as I said I have already read a lot of cleaning and organizing books. It will probably be helpful for homemakers who are new to organization, who like buying things like bins and pouches, and who don’t mind a lack of photos or illustrations.
I read a temporary digital ARC of this book for review.
