I was hooked from start to finish and cared about what was going on in this world. The overall feel worked well in this type of book and thought the concept was unique for the escaped slave. It had a tension that worked with the time-period and thought the overall historical element worked overall. The characters were so well written and glad I was able to read this, it was everything that was promised and glad I read this. MIke Weedall weaved a strong storyline and characters together to create this storyline and am excited for more from him.
