This is an Amish Cozy Mystery, and this is the sixth book in An Amish Matchmaker Mystery series. I have read most of the other books in this series before picking up this book. This book was so much fun to read, and I loved all the characters. The pig is the best character. I really enjoyed reading this book. I received an ARC of this book. This review is my own honest opinion about the book like all my reviews are.

I really enjoyed thia book. I loved that Millie was able to go on a vacation to Florida and see things that she had never seen before. Lois is of course with her. I can't imagine Millie going on this trip with out her. The two of them can't seem to not find trouble. Even on vacation. I love the relationship the two of them have especially since they come from diffferent lifestyles. There just so happens to be a conference for clergy at the nearby resort so of course the Bishop and Ruth are there as well as the reverand and Juliet. Millie ends up Jethro sitting most of the time. During the bus ride from Ohio, she meets a young woman who later is found dead. Millie is determined to figure out who did it. There are lots of humor and fun exploits that follow.

Another exciting adventure with Millie and Lois! I loved that Lois encouraged Millie to visit a different Amish area in Florida.

When on a bus to Florida, Millie meets a timid Amish woman named Caroline and forms a friendship. When Millie later finds Caroline’s body on the beach, she is called to investigate with Lois by her side. The story unfolds with English and Amish tensions, hidden pasts, and a slew of suspects. As always, Ruth, Juliet, Jethro, and more of the Harvest gang make appearances.

I really enjoyed this series and it was nice to explore a new location through the eyes and actions of Millie and Lois. The ending felt a little rushed, but overall a great read.

Thank you to #NetGalley and #KensingtonPublishing for an ARC.

"Newlyweds Can Be Knocked Off (An Amish Matchmaker Mystery #6)" by Amanda Flower is actually the first of this series I have read. However, I have read many of Amanda Flower's companion series "An Amish Candy Shop Mysteries." There's a lot of character a d world crossover since they're both set in the same world and town. Well, most of the characters in this one are from that same town but end up down in pinecraft, Florida. A Florida town that had a thriving Amish community.

The story is told from Amish woman, Millie's, point of view. She and her English best friend, Lois, are taking a bachelorette's trip (as Lois puts it, Millie is newly remarried) to Florida. While there they run into several of their neighbors from back home since there is a Pastoral conference also going on in the same town. This includes Jethro the spotted pet pig.

Millie also makes a new friend. A young Amish woman who was traveling alone on the bus down to Florida. She sort of takes her under her wing and teaches her sewing on the long ride. Unfortunately, this young lady is in the middle of some major controversy that ends up in a death. Millie and Lois feel obligated to help figure out what happened. They get labeled as "the nutty old ladies from Ohio." They figure it out in the end though.

I really wasn't surprised by the reveal by the time it happened. The clues were laid out well. It was more like a "I knew it!" moment. It was interesting to see this world from a different character's point of view than I'm used to. I will need to read this series now in addition to the Candy Shop series.

Millie is lifelong Ohio Amish and her best friend Lois Henry is everything but. Lois decides to take Millie on a vacation to the Amish community near Sarasota, Florida. Sounds like fun. On the bus to Florida they meet a young woman who says that she is rather newly wed and is going to join her husband in the very place they're going. But the next day, the young woman is found murdered on the beach by Millie and then things really get crazy. I laughed my way through the little Comfort Pig's antics, Millie and Lois putting up with the preposterous elder's wife, investigating everyone in the girl's family, and dealing with Florida police who are nothing like the ones back in Ohio. Laughed my sox off as usual with this series!

Traveling to Pinecraft
This time are girls are in Pinecraft Florida, Lois and Millie travel by bus from Holmes Country Ohio, and meet Carolyn. Well mostly Millie spends time with Carolyn, Lois is sleeping, not a good traveler!
Of course murder follows these sleuths and darling Jethro does too! I enjoy these seasoned ladies, often with chuckles, and Lois is looking for a new husband, you never know where you will find one!
As these woman look for the culprit, I had a guess, but in the end I was wrong and never did guess the correct one!
I am look forward to another book in this enjoyable series!
I received this book through Net Galley and the Publisher Kensington, and was not required to give a positive review.

Such a fun entertaining book by Amanda Flower. The mystery behind the story kept me guessing and laughing especially when my favorite pig from Amanda’s Amish Candy Shop mystery series made his appearance with his shenanigans. Definitely a must read.

I was given a complimentary copy of this book by NetGalley and the publisher. All words are my own.

I was so happy to join Millie and Lois in their Sarasota vacation. These two ladies have provided me with hour of entertainment and a bit of trying to keep up with them as they solve yet another murder.

Amanda Flower creates these funny, lovable, older ladies who I have become very fond of and attached to. She brings them to life in each and every novel she’s written about them.
I loved seeing Jethro the naughty pig make an appearance in this book, too.

Overall, this is a a novel that you won’t want to pot down until you’re finished.
Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for the copy.

I was so happy to see another Millie and Lois mystery book that I immediately grabbed it. I love these wonderful stories and this one so far will be absolutely 💯 % my favorite!
I loved the adventure in Florida. Mainly reason why I grabbed it. I live here lol. I saw my 1st manatee like Millie did but I didn't do what she she did or was pushed to do. I jumped up and down and squealed with delight! Florida has amazing wildlife.
I was equally delighted when Jethro appeared. My favorite little pig lol. I clapped my hands with joy and wanted to reach through the pages to hug him.
Still don't like his owner. Too flighty for me.
I loved every minute of this book. Wow!!
Flower has done an excellent job in keeping my attention and making me laugh in all the right places.
Who killed Caroline and why? There was some twisty turns that I never saw coming.
I recommend that y'all pick up this adventure and read it. I guarantee that you'll want to grab Jethro from the pages and adopt him yourself. He's the comedy pig lol!!!
5 stars from me for a job well done.
My thanks for a copy of this book. I was NOT required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are mine.

This was such a fun read! Millie and her best friend Lois take a girls trip to Florida. On the long bus ride, Millie befriends a young amish woman. When the young woman is murdered, Millie and her best friend Lois, try to find justice for their young friend. This is a lighthearted mystery with lots of red herrings and plenty of laugh out loud moments. Lois was a hoot and the antics of Jethro the pig had me in stitches. This is the perfect beach read!!

This was such a fun book to read. Millie and Lois are off to Florida, and they both are hoping to avoid any murder investigations.
Things start off with Millie befriending a young woman on the bus, and things take a sad turn, when Millie discovers her body, just hours later.
Millie and Lois are determined to find out what happened and soon begin their own investigation.
There are so many laugh out loud moments in the story, because Jethro the pig is in Florida too.
I love this series and I'm very happy to recommend it to others.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for selecting me to read an advanced copy of this book.

Mille and Lois head south for a vacation to Florida. Naturally they find a body on the beach of a young girl. Another good one in the series, and even Jethro the pig is there. Enjoyed this one and would highly recommend this book, series and author.
