I enjoyed this book but I felt it need far more pictures. The ones that are present are gorgeous but there are far too many types listed that are not represented on the page.

Absolutely amazing! One of the best introductory level mycology books I've ever read for this age level. All of the information was incredibly easy to follow and minus a handful of examples (which were understandable given the age demographic) the material wasn't oversimplified either. The book covers a broad range of categories pertaining to fungus, from culinary to technological to medicinal and more. I was so delighted to read this I would absolutely recommend it to any bidding young mycologists out there.
