About 24% or so of the book is the events leading up to the murder and the night of the murders. The rest of the book recounts the trial, the media circus, the family history of the Murdaughs in the county, and the sentencing. For fans of both true crime and fans of trial books. This is a quick read of approximately 2-4 hours. Thanks to the publisher for the advanced release copy.
