Kobi Yamada writes fantastic picture books that make you think, and Others is no different. It is a visual representation of how we assume others are different while dispelling that notion through the illustrations. Instead of a wall, there is a hedge, which turns out to be a maze of sorts, which divides us but once we cross to the other side we see how we are all human and all worthy of love and kindness.
I highly recommend this book for schools, libraries, and politicians.

Impeccably written What a beautiful way to break down the walls we build ourselves and "others." What a lovely way to show children that the things that divide us aren't thing that need to matter, when the things that unite us are so much more interesting.
