Darling! Text and illustrations are utterly adorable. Was intrigued how to make a children book out of chess, a bit wary. But simple memorization of pieces and how they move is the perfect sweet spot for a young child’s comprehension. Will absolutely purchase.

I loved this! Definitely looks like something I would love to have on my daughter’s bookshelf. The illustrations were beautiful and really clear and I liked the interactive elements. I will definitely look into buying this when it comes out. Tbh it’s a good intro to chess for anyone!

i requested it because i wanted to learn about playing chess in easy language, but the book only contains descriptions of chess pieces! 🤷🏻‍♀️
don’t know what to make of it! drawing was cute though!

The illustrations are lovely, but this cannot possibly be for babies. No baby is sitting still for this long for a lesson on a game they can't play yet. This is just as effective as reading a Monopoly rule-book to them. Genuinely just changing this to "for toddlers' or ' for young ones' and I could forgive this but this is NOT a baby book.

I like seeing simple board books introductions to topics like chess, computers, etc. Chess for Babies is presented in an appropriate way for the very young. Chess enthusiasts can enjoy sharing their interest in the game using this delightful book with babies and toddlers.
