GOOD FOR HER! Consensual Violence is about lucha libre wrestler Krysten, who survives a brutal violent attack from her trainer. After this attack, Krysten goes to El Paso, Mexico to meet up with her wrestler friend Luna. Together, they put on a show in El Paso to become the new world champions. After the show, a referee is found hiding from cartel killers in Luna's trunk. Even though they had no idea he was hiding there, they get tangled up with the cartel and corrupt cops. Krysten uses her wrestling skills to fight for survival.

Wow, what a great story! The artwork was amazing and I loved how every scene popped! The wrestling panels were illustrated with so much movement. I also appreciated all the bits of gore. I also liked that there was Spanish sprinkled throughout the dialogue. I can read Spanish and it made the story even more immersive. Love a good revenge story!

I was sad to see what happened to Luna and wished she made it out alive in the end.
