All the Ways You Save Me is an emotional and beautifully written story about love, healing, and second chances. Weisner captures the complicated layers of grief and resilience with such tenderness that I often felt the ache right alongside the characters. The relationships in this book are both romantic and personal, raw and authentic, and they remind us how fragile yet strong the human heart can be.
There were moments where the pacing felt a little uneven, but the emotional depth more than made up for it. The prose is lyrical without being heavy, and the characters are flawed in ways that make them relatable and real.
This is a story that lingers after you’ve turned the last page, leaving you with both tears and hope. A moving read for anyone who has ever faced loss and found the courage to love again.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Madeline’s life feels like it’s on steady ground — engaged to Jason, her fiancé and Adam’s best friend, she’s built a future that seems safe. Then that one video changes everything. It shows a man saving children, and there’s something about him that pulls at memories Madeline thought were gone forever. It wasn’t just curiosity — it was like a door she thought was locked suddenly creaked open, and everything she believed started to feel uncertain.
I could feel the weight of her confusion and hope as she wrestled with what to believe and what to hold onto. It’s rare to find a story that digs into that complicated space between past and present without forcing the drama. The way Madeline balances her loyalty to Jason with the questions that keep creeping up felt real — like someone trying to protect herself while also chasing a truth that won’t leave her alone.
The man in the video — he’s not just a mystery to solve. There’s something in the way he’s written that made me pause. He felt layered, quiet, and strangely comforting in the middle of all the tension. Madeline’s reactions, her hesitations, her moments of doubt and longing — all of that felt raw and believable.
The story didn’t rush anything. Instead, it let emotions simmer, letting me live through those moments where nothing is clear but everything matters. I was caught between wanting Madeline to find answers and knowing that some questions might change everything about her life, whether she wanted them to or not.
This wasn’t a story with neat edges or quick fixes. It reminded me how complicated love and loss can be, how the past can reach into the present in ways we don’t expect. Madeline’s journey felt like watching someone slowly open herself to possibilities she never imagined again — painful but full of quiet strength.

I was very excited to have been approved this arc and couldn't wait to listen to this one! It's a mix of mystery and romance with well done narration. It took me a while to get into this one but got there in the end , it didn't grasp me like others did but overall a very enjoyable listen and will check out more by this author. Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for this arc

Madeline and Adam’s love story was cut short by tragedy, but ten years later she’s built a new future with Jason, Adam’s best friend. Just as she’s about to marry him, fate intervenes—an accident, a mysterious rescuer, and the shocking appearance of a man who looks exactly like Adam. From there, secrets unravel in a small beach town filled with mystery, romance, and the bonds of chosen family.
I absolutely loved the concept of this book! The thriller elements kept me on the edge of my seat, and the romance added so much heart. I was completely hooked, constantly guessing, and the twist at the end blew me away—I never saw it coming. If you love a blend of suspense, secrets, and swoony romance, this is a must-read!

I was so excited to be approved as an ARC reader for All the Ways You Save Me and honestly, it lived up to the hype for me. It’s a mix of fluffy romance and mystery, which I wasn’t expecting to work so well together, but it did.
The story is told in a dual timeline, and at first I found that a bit hard to keep up with on audio. Once I got into it, though, the narrators really pulled me in. Having both a male and female voice made the characters feel real. That said, I think I would have enjoyed it even more as an ebook just so I could flick back and forth when needed.
The characters felt believable and grounded. Garrett especially stood out, he just came across as so genuine. The romance is second chance/long-lost love, which I loved, but it didn’t completely take over the story. There was still plenty of focus on the mystery side of things, and by the second half I was fully hooked.
The twist at the end? So good. It was foreshadowed just enough that it felt satisfying without being too predictable. And I really liked the deeper theme running through the story about trust. Can you really trust the people closest to you?
I probably wouldn’t reread it, but it was definitely worth the listen, and I’d recommend it to anyone who loves romance with a suspenseful edge.

What can I say! I’m obsessed with Melissa Wiesner. I have read a couple of her books and have loved them all.
The mystery, the emotions, the angst, the atmosphere; everything was perfection in this book. This storyline was well thought out and so interesting from beginning to end. The characters were intriguing, relatable, and complex. Second chance romance is rising up my leaderboard for most-read tropes because of Melissa Wiesner. I couldn’t stop listening to this book and didn’t want it to end. I am so excited that there will be a book two in this series and will be first in line to read it!
Thank you NetGalley and Bookouture Audio for this ALC of All The Ways You Save Me. I highly recommend this one!

I want to thank NetGalley for approving me for an ALC of this book.
This is a dual timeline story, set in a small town, about young love, grief and second chances. The narration was done very well and I found it impossible to disconnect my headphones from this one.
Our story focuses on Madeline and Adam, two high school students who fall in love. When Adam is killed in an accident it leaves Madeline distraught. Skip to ten years later and Madeline has moved on with her life, until a social media video, of someone who looks like Adam, surfaces. This turns Madeline's world upside down but of course she has to find out who this stranger is because, what if it is Adam?
The best way to describe this one is as a popcorn romance story. It's entertaining and whilst I did see a few of the twists I was pleasantly surprised by some of them. I've still got quite a few questions, which I'm assuming will be answered in the upcoming books.

An angsty romance with a mystery. Madeline, Adam and Jason were the best of friends until Adam dies in a car crash. Or did he? Years later Madeline and Jason are engaged but Madeline is still mourning the love of her life. Then she thinks she sees him on an IG live and her world changes.
Told in the past as Adam and Madeline’s romance starts and in the present as she tries to make sense of her life.
It’s emotional and at times heartbreaking but I was drawn into the characters from the start and needed to know if Garret is Adam.
The characters are complex and relatable and most of all interesting. I enjoyed spending time with them. Getting to know them and their stories. Speaking of their stories, they are slow burns as you read about what makes them what they are.
Greg Lockett and Lauryn Allmanndo a phenomenal job bringing the complicated and emotional story to life. I love when multiple povs have multiple narrators in an audiobook. They brought the right amount of emotion to their performances.
And when looking on Goodreads it looks like this is the first in a series. There will be a return to Sandy Harbor.

I am a huge fan of this author and with the hype this book had I was so excited and ready to embrace all the emotions. Unfortunately the only feeling I had was one of disappointment.
Madeline and Jason are engaged and planning their wedding. Although they’ll never forget the loss of their high school best friend, Adam, happiness feels just around the corner… Until Madeline is saved by a stranger on the beach. And she’s certain it’s Adam standing in front of her.
But the man says his name is Garrett. Maybe Madeline was confused. The fact that his eyes, and lips, and dark wavy hair dripping with saltwater are just the same as Adam’s must be a coincidence. Right?
Jason wants Madeline to leave everything in the past. But how can they ever be happy if they don't find out the truth?
This was a train wreck from beginning to end. I really didn’t believe the high school love story and the whole dropping your life to chase a doppelgänger was utterly ridiculous. I really hated Garrett’s character, and can’t name one redeeming quality tbh.
It’s told in past and present timelines and the naiveté exemplified by Garrett was also unbelievable and took away from my enjoyment of the story.
Eventually the two timelines merged and things were explained but I was so annoyed at that point that there was no coming back. I also didn’t like how there was so much left unanswered and I understand that there’s a book two coming that will give us the closure; but it shouldn’t have been such a huge part of this story just to be left off for book two.
Sadly I’ll never get the closure because I won’t be continuing this series

If you know me, you already know how much I adore Melissa Wiesner’s books. She’s hands-down one of my favorite authors, and All the Ways You Save Me completely stole my heart.
Right from page one, I was hooked. I read the book and listened to the audiobook at the same time, and honestly, I’m so glad I did. The experience was intense in the best way. Emotional. Raw. Unexpected. And that twist?? I did not see it coming.
This story goes back and forth in time, following three friends through love, heartbreak, and everything that comes after. It’s one of those books that slowly pulls you apart and then gently puts you back together. One love story. One life-changing decision. One betrayal. It’s about friendship, grief, forgiveness, and how sometimes things don’t make sense until much later.
The narration by Greg Lockett and Lauryn Allman? Phenomenal. They brought Adam and Madeline to life so vividly that I felt like I was walking through Sandy Harbor with them. I felt everything, every bit of joy, sadness, grief, hope, and heartbreak. Their performance added so much depth and emotion. Seriously, standing ovation-worthy.
This book is a must-read (and must-listen). If you love emotionally rich stories with unforgettable characters and a plot that keeps you guessing, don’t miss this one. Go read it. Go feel it.
P.S. Can’t wait to see how the next book in the series unfolds…..I’m already counting down!
Thank you so much @bookedwiththeemilys and @melissawiesnerauthor for my #gifted copy and for letting me be part of this tour, and @bookouture for the ALC!

A new Melissa Wiesner book is one thing, but a new Melissa Wiesner book that is the start of a series is a whole other level of exciting!
Madeline, Adam and Jason are an unbreakable trio. Madeline and Adam are planning their future together until Adam dies in a tragic accident. Ten years later, when Madeline and Jason are planning their wedding, Madeline, by pure chance, sees a video of a surfer saving a kid from the sea. And it’s Adam. Who is dead and who also couldn’t swim, so it can’t be! But the feelings that it stirs up in Madeline make her realise that she can’t marry Jason.
I loved this book; it’s not just a romance, it’s so much more. It is an exploration of love, emotions, loyalty and a search for the truth.
Madeline is a great character, she has strength and determination that is balanced by a vulnerability that makes her relatable and likeable.
The plot was brilliant with an outcome I would never have predicted and I hope to see the characters from this book feature in the future books in the series.
5 ⭐️ Thanks to Netgalley, Melissa Wiesner and Bookouture, for an ARC of this book.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC opportunity!
Wow. I have no words for this. What a web that's woven, and i need the second book like NOW.
This first half was so heartbreaking, and i knew where some of it was going but it didnt take the sting away when the events came forward. I still have alot of open questions, and i cannot wait for the second book.

I would like to thank Netgalley and the publisher for providing me with an audio ARC.
This book had me hooked. I had a really hard time putting it down. The narrators also did a fantastic job with this book.
The writing was superb. The characters are so well developed and fleshed out. It was fantastic getting to be in the heads of the two main characters. I felt the struggles of Madeline. She was so well written and I loved her. It felt like they grew and changed throughout the novel.
The story itself also felt very well written. Even with having ideas of where the story was going, I was just so drawn into the story. It is a very exciting plot that felt well connected to itself. I couldn’t wait to finish this book and read it until it was time to go to bed. I also love how the author connected the past with the present. It felt perfectly written in.
This book is certainly a new favorite and I can't wait for the upcoming book by this author. This was a phenomenal experience to to read and I'd highly recommend this one.

This story was very addictive, while it was predictable I enjoyed the revelations. I think the writing was what made it captivating and engaging. I cannot wait for book two!

Melissa Wiesner is the queen of hard to put down, emotionally beautiful romances. Her stories give all the feels, from tragic heartbreak to happy tears and All the Ways You Save Me was no exception. I can always count on her to deliver a beautifully broken relationship/romance with a side of mystery and suspense. It is told through dual POV and timelines, which added so much depth, emotion, and perspective. Although a little predictable, it still kept my attention and had a twist that shocked me. This is the first book in the Sandy Harbor series and I am already highly anticipating the next one.
The dual audio narration created a perfect immersive experience. Greg Lockett and Lauryn Allman do a phenomenal job bringing the story and characters to life and delivering a flawless performance from start to finish. The emotions and empathy they gave these characters was incredible. Between the powerful words written by Wiesner and the incredible audiobook performance, I was quickly and fully immersed into the story and the characters' journey.
Thank you @melissawiesner for the #gifted physical copy and having me on your street team. Thank you @bookouture and @netgalley for the #gifted ARC and ALC. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Go in blind for the best experience!
I really enjoyed this book and cannot wait for the second book to come out! I need answers to the rest of the mystery. After a summer spent reading romcoms with pretty simplistic plots, this was just the book I needed to wake me up and keep me on the edge of my seat. I don’t know, sometimes I am in the mood for a contemporary romance with an over the top, unrealistic story and this was definitely it. From the very first page I was locked in. I was really impressed by Melissa Wiesner’s ability to leave no holes left unfilled. Anytime I thought the book might be a little too over the top or fantastically she ended up having a perfectly good explanation for every twist and turn within the story. My one and only complaint was that Wiesner would build these different, epic climax moments but then the moment it would come time for the characters to confront one another the moment would be written kind of cheesy. The build up was so strong but then the execution wasn’t.

A moving romance of first love and an extraordinarily unique second chance, rounded out with a compelling plot featuring mystery and suspense. Madeline once had a true love, Adam, who along with his best friend, Jason, came into her life when she needed them most. Unfortunately, life had a different direction for her—a decade later she is contemplating her impending marriage with Jason and not Adam, as she unexpectedly encounters Adam’s doppelgänger. Secrets unravel, truths are revealed, and choices are made and that have Madeline questioning what is real or not. Low in spice, high in emotion, this romance had me hooked.
I had the opportunity to tandem read, which I appreciated because I am not sure I could have put this down to complete other tasks. New to me narrators Greg Lockett and Lauryn Allman were fantastic with their dual narration, their emotions and pacing matching the romance and suspense wonderfully.

The fact that this is the first book of the Sandy Harbor series makes me ridiculously happy because I’m thrilled knowing there are more books coming featuring these easy-to-love characters. Melissa Wiesner has written another emotional, heart wrenching story that pulled me in from the start.
First love, friendship, grief, and intrigue collide in this story of three teenagers whose lives were dramatically altered on a fateful rainy night. Madeline and Adam meet on the first day of school after Madeline’s family moves to central Pennsylvania from a beachside New Jersey community. They are a couple from the start and Madeline falls in easily with Adam and his best friend, Jason.
Tragedy strikes when Adam’s car goes off the road into the raging river below. Unable to swim, he is presumed dead though his body was never recovered. A decade later, Madeline and Jason are engaged; having bonded over the trauma of losing Adam, when Madeline sees a video of a hero surfer who looks strikingly like Adam. Could he still be alive?
Wiesner takes the reader on a journey of heartbreak and hope, bonding and betrayal. Alternating between past and present timelines, the story plays out through multiple POV as it races toward an unexpected conclusion.
I paired the digital and audio versions for an uninterrupted reading experience. The narration by Greg Lockett and Lauryn Allman brought great emotional range to the story. This was a quick read/listen that I did not want to put down.

4/5 Solid narration. I don’t really have any complaints. The pacing, pausing, inflection, and voice variations were all solid. I did have to adjust the volume ever so slightly between the male and female narrator but not in any major way. Def. recommend the audiobook.
Such an addicting read!
The author does a fabulous job of creating suspense and this book was nearly impossible to put down!
I think this is one that would be great to go into without reading the synopsis or any trope list so I won’t say much, other than this was an expertly woven dual timeline that had me on the edge of my seat!
I cannot wait for book 2!

Thank you to NetGalley, @HachetteUK and @Bookouture for this ALC in exchange for an honest review.
This audiobook hooked me right from the start. Our FMC, Madeline is finally moving forward, planning her wedding with Jason, her longtime best friend. When she’s suddenly pulled out of the ocean by a stranger who looks exactly like Adam, the first love she lost ten years ago. From there, the story becomes this emotional mix of love, loss, and “what if” that kept me listening nonstop.
I really enjoyed the way it played with memory and second chances. It had me questioning right alongside Madeline whether what she was seeing was real or just her heart holding on to the past.
The narrators, Greg Lockett and Lauryn Allman, were amazing. They gave the characters so much depth and emotion that I felt every bit of Madeline’s confusion, hope, and heartbreak. Honestly, they’re a big reason why I loved the audiobook so much.
If you like emotional romances with a bit of mystery this is the audiobook for you!
4.25 Stars!
