🗣 Thank you to Penguin Books and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book via gifted eARC! All opinions are honest and my own.

I believe this is a reissue of an earlier edition, but I appreciate the opportunity to read this through NetGalley, thanks to Penguin Books.
I’ve been wanting to explore Mary Oliver’s poetry and this was a lovely introduction to her work. I found this to be a calming set of poems set in the natural world. It was a bit hard to read on a Kindle, and I’m not sure if that’s just an issue with poetry on devices or if it’s just that this is an unfinished NetGalley copy, so I’d recommend this to be read as a physical book. I think I would add this to my collection and go back for a reread myself.

Thank you so much to Penguin Books and The Penguin Press for providing me with this gifted copy!
Wow, wow, WOW! I got into poetry a few years ago and was so happy to be sent a gifted copy of Mary Oliver’s work. The way she structured sentences and her ability to bring so many different perspectives to life is truly special.
Highly recommend!
