I really wanted to like this book, the premise sounded right up my street! Unfortunately, I couldn't really get along with the writing style as it felt slightly juvenile, I also found myself getting bored. There was a lot of telling, not showing. Maybe I will give it another go, but I didn't love it!

Y'all I adored this book. Now I have to admit my bias. One, my name is Kara and it's rare I see it used in books. Two, I'm a Houstonian and a book is always more enjoyable when you are familiar with the setting. With that said, this book is a great read regardless.
Honey and Cara come together after finding out their spouses, who were longtime close friends, cheated on them with each other and have sailed away on a cruise together. What's great about this story is that Honey and Cara are not strangers to each other, but their relationship is limited to social settings as the partners of their exes. This creates a great starting dynamic that sets a foundation but leaves a lot to explore as well.
In anticipation of their impending divorces, the two embark on a road trip from Houston to Cali while documenting the journey on social media. The journey that unfolds is one of grief, healing, growth, and understanding. As with any good road trip there are ups and downs and memories made.
Glynn does an excellent job of making these women very relatable. Cara is teacher and Honey owns and operates a music store. They live relatively "normal" lives and deal with stresses and changes in life we all deal with, allowing the reader to really connect with the MCs. I encourage y'all to take this trip with Cara and Honey, you'll be glad you did.

Anywhere with You by Margo Glenn follows Honey and Cara who's spouses cheat on them with each other. In a moment of desperation to show the world that she is just fine with out her cheating ex-husband she asks Honey to go on a road trip with her. I know, I know, the plot line when I explain it doesn't sound amazing but it really is. Honey is a likeable music store owner who reads poems and enjoys the view, and Cara is someone who's sweet and thoughtful. Together they go on a beautiful (and sometimes steamy) adventure that shows that even when disaster strikes, if you're with the right person they will help you either forget it all or get through it all.

What a surprising and refreshing premise for a story: two acquaintances decide to go on a road trip together after discovering that their partners have run off with each other. From this unusual starting point, the book takes the reader on a heartfelt emotional journey. The characters go through grief, self-discovery, and the process of learning not only about each other, but also about their own sense of self-worth.
I especially liked how the role of social media is woven into the narrative. It adds a modern and realistic layer, showing how online presence and outside perceptions can affect emotions and relationships.
Overall, this is a very engaging read—filled with well-developed characters, emotional depth, and just the right balance between thought-provoking themes and easy, enjoyable storytelling. It’s the kind of book that not only entertains, but also leaves you with something to reflect on.
I received a free copy of this book, but I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This is a wonderfully organic romance. Cara Espinoza's husband and Honey Singh's wife were lifelong best friends. But now Cara and Honey are reeling from learning their spouses have been having an affair and have served them with divorce papers. Cara reaches out to Honey after painfully watching their soon to be ex’s post their cruise online. The best revenge is to show everyone they are not heartbroken and sitting at home. So the pair decide to go on a spring break road trip. Their plan is to go from Houston to the Redwoods in California. It is a road trip I would loved to have tagged along on.
The two have known each other socially for years through their spouses. But now Cara has lists of getting to know you questions between stops at National Parks, and tourist spots. Cara is a high school biology teacher and knows fun facts about everything. Honey owns a barely profitable music instrument store. The dialogue between the pair, and also Honey with her parents, at times made me bark with laughter. The story throws in tropes like close proximity and even a hotel with one bed. And while the pair are genuinely upset and sad about their upcoming divorces, the trip is healing and helping them move on. I appreciated the quiet moments as much as the ones that made me laugh.
This is seemingly a debut novel and I think the author nailed it. I am looking forward to future books from her. (4.5 Stars)

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC in exchange for an honest review!
I need more of the trope “ex’s ex who was also cheated on by my spouse turned lovers” lol. Or however you would say that? This was a really fun read despite the inciting incident. I really appreciated that these characters were also in their 30s. We need more MCs not in their 20s!
This book takes us on a journey about friendship, healing, and finally living life for yourself instead of settling. It’s a great road trip book that teaches the reader how to roll with the punches and that if you’re with the right person, “the bad” actually seems pretty good.
If you’re a vibe / seasonal reader like me, this book takes place majority on a road trip from Texas to California- a lot of desert. Hence, this book would be a great tag along for a summer road trip. It would also be great for a reader who is looking for hope with finding love when they have been betrayed. It’s a fluffier read than I anticipated despite then scenario of cheating spouses that led to our MCs finding each other.

This is a story with a strange premise: it's a road trip about two women who were dumped by their partners, and those exes are now dating each other. The reason is that the husband of one and the wife of the other have known each other since they were young. They've always had a very strong friendship, which ultimately led them to leave their spouses, who never saw it coming.
After their partners leave them, one from a heterosexual relationship and the other from a queer relationship, they feel abandoned and lost. They didn't see it coming and now have no idea what to do.So when one woman proposes to the other that they take a road trip in response to how happy their exes look in their social media posts, they don't think twice and decide to make their own posts too.
The journey they're on is both physical and emotional. The situations they find themselves in are funny, some of them because of how surreal they are. But little by little, they leave behind the sadness of being abandoned by their partners and realize that maybe they needed this breakup because they were comfortable and had settled for situations that didn't completely fulfill them.
I absolutely loved the two protagonists, for real. My only slight issue was with how Honey reacted during the most tense part of the trip. On one hand, her reaction makes sense, but on the other, it doesn't seem to align with the conclusions she had been reaching after reflecting on her situation.
Overall, it was a worthwhile read.

Honey and Cara's spouses are having an affair. Cara proposes a vacation to Honey get away from it all. They find they are having a better time with each other than they ever did with their spouses.
A great read & I would recommend.
I received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Honey Singh’s wife has left her and is looking for divorce. Her wife has run off on a trip with her long-time friend, Cara Espinoza’s husband. Honey and Cara, who often felt like the extra person among the group, see the new couple’s (well, at least new as far as being known) posting on social media during their journeys, and their big idea is to take a trip of their own to show that they’re not affected.
Their soon-to-be former spouses don’t ever make an actual appearance in the book (except when Cara and Honey watch them on social media), which could be seen as a bit of a miss for the novel. Unlike other novels, in which this might impact the book in a negative way,
The trip that Honey and Cara take is fun and adventurous and full of mishaps, and it appears the two, who didn’t know each other particularly well when with their spouses, are growing closer together. We get the novel written from Honey’s POV, which I originally felt was a mistake. I have found it to be usually better in romance books to get the POV of both the main characters, but there is a very specific reason. Is it enough of a reason to not get Cara’s POV? I’m not sure, but it doesn’t impact the book too badly.
There is a third act “break up,” which I am generally not a fan of, but much like the lack of two POVs, it’s not enough to dim the enjoyment of the novel. This is a fast, enjoyable read, and I look forward to future works from this author.

When Honey and Clara discover that their spouses are having an affair, they decide to go on a road trip, filming their adventures to prove to everyone that they are doing fine and are not heartbroken. Soon enough sparks begin to fly but when a secret is revealed, is it important enough that it extinguishes the sparks before the romance has even begun?
Whilst the beginning I felt was a little slow, once I got into it and the plot the developed, it was hard to put down. I loved how charming this love story was and the development of both characters.
Overall, this was an enjoyable read that I would recommend to readers who are looking for something easy and most definitely sapphic! As this was Gylnn’s debut novel, I look forward to seeing what is to come in the future.
Thank you NetGalley for providing me this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I loved this!!! This was so heartfelt and so so adorable. I loved the chemistry between Honey and Cara. I also really enjoyed the way the author wrote the humour aspects of the storyline. Honey and Cara both deserved their happy ending and especially together. Can’t wait to be able to add this to my physical collection when this gets released.
Thank you to Netgalley and Bold Strokes Books for this arc! X

Anywhere With You meets Honey and Cara weeks after their spouses cheated on them with each other. Hurt and looking to move on with their lives, Honey and Cara embark on a spring break roadtrip to make new memories and maybe throw a little social media shade back at their cheating exes, who are not-so-subtly flaunting their new life together.
The quieter of the two, Cara, is the perfect type-A roadtrip partner, with an itinerary, snacks, and packed car full of essentials. Honey is a little more type-b and ready to let Cara take the reins and forget. Their trip together is full of fun adventures, aliens, banter, good music, and finding the chemistry between them.
Anywhere With You is a cozy, sapphic romance that I really enjoyed - I appreciate that the author made this book full of funny and serious moments, but that even the lighter scenes had impact on the overall story.
Thank you o Netgalley, Margo Glynn, and Bold Strokes Books Inc. for an eARC of this book.

would like to thank netgalley and the publisher for letting me read this inspiring book
when honey found out about her wife cheating she was devasted... she hadnt seen it coming.... but the fact that she cheated on her with their best friend was something else
when cara approached honey about their cheating spouses honey wasnt exactly friendly towards her and realising her mistake honey went to caras home to apologise
that cara was to suggest they went on a road trip themselves to show the world and their cheating ex partners that they themselves were ok was greeted by honey as a very good idea
and off they went videoing their experiences and as they spent more time with each other and spoke of things ...healing began to happen and maybe a little bit of attraction started.....
wow i loved how the author pulled me right into this storyline.... loved honey and caras characters each hurt but needing each other to heal it was a well thought out storyline that makes me want to go on a road trip now....
looking forward to seeing what else this author can produce next

Anywhere with You by Margo Glynn is a sapphic road trip romp with bite. Two women, freshly betrayed by their cheating spouses, hit the highway to prove they’re thriving and maybe find something real along the way.

Anywhere With You is @authormargoglynn’s debut novel, and I have to say it’s a strong one! The book tells the story of Honey and Cara, whose spouses Bridget and Lorenzo are lifelong friends… Until they become something more, having an affair for several months before ending their respective marriages. Reeling from the shock of Bridget leaving her, Honey is caught off guard when Cara shows up at the music store she owns suggesting they take a road trip together. Desperately needing a change of pace, she somewhat surprises herself by agreeing.
Most of the story is set on the road between Texas and California, with the two getting to know one another better as they spend hours together in Cara’s little orange car. Anywhere With You is a low-angst and charming love story that sees both main characters learning to be honest about their wants and needs, in relationships and otherwise. It’s got great banter, a bit of spice, and was generally just a satisfying read!
I really enjoyed Anywhere With You and hope to see more from Margo Glynn in the future.

A huge thank you to NetGalley, Bold Strokes Books and author Margo Glynn for this ARC opportunity. I’m very happy to share my honest review.
The cover of this book captured my attention immediately. I love bold colors and adorable artwork! It was honestly just super cute and eye-catching. I was further intrigued by the blurb. Spouses cheat and then the jilted spouses find unexpected solace in one another? Sign me up!
I was very excited at the premise of this book and was eager to read it! My expectations were kind of high going into this read and they were most certainly met…and exceeded. There is an overwhelming theme of hope and finding enduring happiness in this book. Hopeful optimism is written into both of our lovely main characters and I feel like it permeates every scene. This was such a sweet and special story. I have read other stories that dealt with infidelity, a delicate topic, and though there were happy endings, this was different. I’ve never read a story where the scorned spouses found love in each other! So good!
Honey and Cara are a couple of sweet and lovely ladies with an unfortunate thing in common, their spouses are cheaters. In fact, their spouses had a long affair and have run away together! Geesh, talk about getting kicked in the heart. But these two resilient, fascinating, strong and overall badass chicks look at the glass as half full. They decide to embark on a cross country road trip from Texas to California in an effort to prove that they are healed and not heartbroken. While that may not be entirely true at the start, it definitely is and the end. They take a chance on life, on themselves and on each other. They head out on this momentous trip of healing and rehabilitation and get so much more than they bargained for. Somewhere between the sights, the road, the adventure, a video shared on their socials and just experiencing the beauty of the road and landscapes they find real friendship and eventually so much more.
The writing is humorous, uplifting , deep and memorable. I feel like each word is chosen carefully with this author and that makes each word precious to me. Glynn carefully creates a story and characters that I grow to truly care about. The premise was emotional to begin with but the follow up is light hearted, warm, deep and gratifying. The road trip aspect was fun and created a whimsical and novel environment for our ladies to find inner peace and outward growth. Through museum tours or just desert driving, our ladies were finding joy! And that made me a happy reader! I really liked Cara and Honey. They got under my skin and into my heart. They are both really special, complex and flawed people. They are written realistically and I feel like I’d be friends with them in real life. They have both been betrayed and hurt by the most important people in their lives but they refused to be jaded. They are so kind and open to each other. They grow quite close along their adventure and develop a real connection from their obvious chemistry. They have fun together! It’s a joy to share their journey of healing, self empowerment and love.
There was so much humor in this book. I often found myself smiling from ear to ear or busting up laughing. That is such a unique and underrated quality in romance novels that deal with infidelity as this is a more serious subject matter. The humorous aspect was a wonderful surprise and a testament to the author’s writing ability. Okay so, it's not all fun and adventure…there is a hidden secret and a bit of derailment…but such is life. I really don’t want to give away specifics because it will ruin the reading experience but suffice it to say that our ladies certainly have a bit of a detour in the road trip. Again, this author has created wonderful characters that handle things with grace. I never felt that they didn’t genuinely care for each other, even from the beginning and that is special.
This book is kind of a testament to that famous Rollong Stones lyric “You can’t always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you might find, you get what you need.” Cara and Honey certainly did not want to be cheated on and for their marriages to disintegrate but they were brave, strong and resilient. They embraced the difficulty of their situation and did so together. They chose to embrace what life could be if they chose themselves…and eventually chose each other. They may not have initially gotten what they wanted but try they did and they definitely got what they needed. They needed to heal and to feel good about themselves and to feel appreciated. It was wonderful to watch Honey and Cara find what they truly need along their journey. It was supremely satisfying to watch them fall in love and get what they truly wanted in each other. These two were so good together and that was particularly evident in their intimate moments. The author handles the spicy scenes with a touch of humor, sweet sensitivity and delightful spice. I always prefer there to be romantic moments and streamy aspects in any romance story and so I greatly appreciated the spicy bits!
This is a sweet and satisfying slow burn sapphic romance. I was moved to tears, urged to laugh and truly enjoyed every page. This was a wonderful feel good story and I will look for more by this author. I absolutely recommend it!

Absolutely loved this! The road trip vibes were perfect, and the romance had me smiling the whole way through. The characters felt so real, and I was completely invested in their journey—both on the road and with each other.

I loved this! I was compelled to keep reading, not for unexpected twists and turns but for a lovely turn of phrase, actual witty banter and descriptions that absolutely made me want to go to those places….. 4.5!

3.75 ⭐
I picked this one up because the plot totally grabbed me — two women find out their spouses cheated on them with each other, so they hit the road to prove they can be happy without them… and somewhere along the way, they fall in love. Tell me that’s not a great setup!
I’ll admit, I’m usually not big on road trip romances. For some reason, I tend to struggle getting into them. But Anywhere With You surprised me in the best way. It felt like so much more than just a romance — it was a heartfelt, beautifully put-together love story. I loved that the author really took her time building Honey and Cara’s relationship. Their connection and chemistry felt so natural, and I adored the way they slowly let their walls down with each other. The intimacy was paced just right, and I also loved how each of them went on their own journey of self-discovery along the way. By the end, they felt like real, relatable people I could root for.
That said, I didn’t connect with the story quite as deeply as I wanted to — so maybe this is just one of those times where I’m the odd one out.
But honestly? If you loved Here We Go by Alison Cochrun, I think this will be right up your alley. Definitely worth a read!
Thank you to NetGalley and Bold Strokes Books for the eARC, in exchange for my sincere review!

I received an ARC copy of this book from the Publisher via Netgalley and voluntarily leaving my review.
