Now THIS is a trope I want more of - falling for your ex’s new partner’s ex.
Honey and Cara were incredibly lovable characters and it was so fun to follow along on their adventure. I found myself really connecting to their feelings and struggles, and laughing out loud at parts. Honey’s parents were my favorite and I wish they existed in a sitcom.
My only true critique was the rental house they ended up at - it felt WAY too good to be true. A vacant rental house, for free, fully stocked with food and everything they’d need? But it’s also someone’s primary residence? It would have made more sense if it were just a vacation home and they ordered groceries or something, or if Lane’s mom was out of town and Lane said “use what you need and we can replace it after you leave.”
I also wish the author would’ve referred to an existing app rather than creating a new one. But I understand not wanting to add an app name that could be nonexistent in a few years.

Thank you to Net Galley and the publisher for the ARC of Anywhere With You.
Heartache unites Honey and Cara as they set out on a road trip to get away from their past (and cheating spouses) and begin to step into their future in Anywhere with You. Although they've been in each other's orbit for years, they've never truly gotten to know each other, but with adventure and healing on the horizon, they reveal more about themselves than perhaps they'd ever done with anyone else before.
Glynn's writing is engaging and heartfelt. The FMCs backstories are compelling, and while the novel is told from Honey's perspective, the dialogue works to explore what's going on with Cara as well. The supporting characters are funny, endearing, and helpful. The road trip itself helps to ground this story and create opportunities for Honey and Cara to become friends, which leads to something more.
This story hits all the right beats along the way and makes you feel all the feels. Honey and Cara Forever! Highly recommend.

This was really really sweet and such a quick read!
Honey and Cara aren't friends. They're more friends-adjacent as their spouses grew up together. Unfortunately for them, their spouses also fell in love... while they were still married. Now both heading for divorce in their respective marriages and unsure what the next step in their lives should be, they decide to take a road trip to the California redwoods together. Along the way, they develop a friendship and start feeling some unexpected other feelings too.
Even though this book is so fast paced, there's no real filler scenes- everything has a purpose and is another page in Honey and Cara's story. They had really great chemistry and though the book is mainly about the two of them (they are road tripping in a car alone together for most of it, after all) and the side characters only pop up briefly, even they are all charming. They are both suffering a loss and with each other's help, end up finding real purpose and direction in their lives.
I really enjoyed this. It was my first read by this author (didn't realize it was a debut!) and I'm excited to read more!

It's a gentle approach to romance.
A slow development, but in a very funny and entertaining way.
This road-trip romance by the two MCs is about two women who have been disappointed and cheated on.
They decide to do something spontaneous and selfish because they want to show the world that they can cope without their ex partners.
Cara and Honey are friends in a way; their respective partners have been friends forever, discovered now their undying love for each other, and are now living it out.
Much to their wives' chagrin.
Both, however, know that they're better off without their respective wives.
This process takes a while, and they realize how good each other's presence is for them.
And they discover more than they thought possible. It gets steamy, too, and I really enjoyed the intimate scenes.
The best part however, is the witty exchanges between them!
Thanks so much to Margo Glynn, Bold Strokes Books and Netgalley for this ARC!
This is my honest review!

Wow, a remarkable and intelligent story that follows two lonely souls aka Cara and Honey as they embark on an adventure. The characters are lovely and realtable. A positive read thats filled with humor, hope and its also romantic. It made me laugh out loud as well as a bit teary at times. Glynn definitely knocked this one out the park. I look forward to more from her. Great Job!! I recommend

Margo Glynn has crafted a remarkable novel about hope, the creation of fun in daily life, and romance, following heartbreaking events for two women. Honey Singh and Cara Espinoza have recently been asked for divorces by their lying, cheating spouses who are having an affair together. Bridget (Honey’s spouse) and Lorenzo (Cara’s husband) have been having an affair for about six months. In light of these revelations, both Honey and Cara need to get away from their lives in Houston. Cara proposes that that they take a road trip together and they agree on the ultimate destination as the Redwood National Forest in California. So Cara develops an itinerary with fun stops throughout the Southwest.
On their trip they have fun adventures together and post about them online on a site called Mesimo. They experience long drives, long conversations where they get to know each other, share meals, and chip away at their heartbreak. The road trip and their experiences were a highlight of this book. Their growing relationship as more than friends happens slowly and carefully. The book becomes magical when they become stranded in Arizona following some car trouble. Following one night in a cheap motel, fate comes to their rescue in the form on a diner employee. The diner employee takes Honey and Cara to their mother’s AirBnB and lets them use it for free along with the amenities.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this creative story as well as Honey and Cara’s unique connection. 4.5 stars
I received an ARC from Bold Strokes Books and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review,

The main strengths of Margo Glynn’s novel are its wit, its humanity, and its intelligence. The story follows two women, Honey and Cara, who decide to take a road trip after their spouses have left them. Honey and Cara have known each other for a while but are not sure if they are friends or mostly good acquaintances. Over the course of their trip, they fall into a genuine friendship and then . . . no spoilers! The wit comes from the first-person narrator Honey, whose fast mind and snappy comments caffeinate the novel: “I was wearing a black tank top and pants that I’d bought based on their claims to 'minimize stomach bulge,' which is exactly the phrase that every woman wants to read when shopping.” Honey is self-aware yet humble enough to continue to grow in her self-awareness, an irresistibly appealing trait. While you enjoy the humor, you’re deepened by the empathy, healing, and compassion the story brings out.. Cara makes a list of conversational topics for the trip, and most readers will apply those questions to themselves, too. It’s a book to stop at times and to think about. The intelligence comes from the novelistic sureness of Margo Glynn. Each scene has a purpose in adding fun and revealing character; no moment is wasted.

I loved so many things about this book - let me tell you about a few.
The attitude - positive, reflective, hopeful. Romantic.
Her husband and her wife are now together - and they are left to flounder. Cara grabs some confidence, approaches Honey with a let's show them plan. After years of just being on the outside of their couple group, Cara and Honey realize they know nothing about each other.
Together they learn to have fun, relax, let go of their marriage and restrictions. And fall for each other.
This book does an amazing job of focusing on what happens next, while not dragging the other couple down.

This is a funny, tender, and hopeful romance about finding love in the aftermath of heartbreak. Honey Singh and Cara Espinoza are both reeling after discovering their spouses are cheating—with each other, no less. Instead of wallowing, they hit the road together, filming their adventures as proof they’re thriving, not broken. What starts as a distraction quickly turns into something deeper, as long drives, shared laughs, and late-night conversations spark a connection neither expected.
The road trip backdrop gives the story a fun, adventurous vibe—complete with quirky detours, alien-hunting, and a few run-ins with the wilderness. But it’s Honey and Cara’s growing bond that makes the book shine, as their chemistry builds from friendship into something much more. Glynn balances humor with vulnerability, making their journey of healing feel just as important as their romance. Anywhere With You is heartfelt, playful, and full of second-chance magic—perfect for readers who love road trip romances with equal parts laughter and swoon.

It was sooooo romantic! So heartwarming. Sigh. Two lonely souls discover that their spouses have cheated on them with each other. Two lonely souls discover that their spouses have cheated on them with each other and are now showing this love publicly on social media.
I really liked the road trip part, it was so much fun. I liked the humor, the banter. I giggled so often. It felt so light and just put me in a good mood. The slow development of a connection between Cara and Honey was very beautiful, cautious, tentative, and then there was this great longing. Unfortunately, the novel was only written from Honey's point of view... I would have loved to know Cara's thoughts in some scenes. Especially when they got closer.
Of course, it wasn't all fun, there were some sad parts too. I had tears in my eyes. I found the book very reflective in terms of Honey and Cara's marriages. That really rounded out the character development. It was a good mix of fun and sadness. Ohhh and the spice... wow! I won't forget that anytime soon. The book was really fun and I highly recommend it!

Heartfelt, emotional, and beautiful 🩷
Both Cara and Honey were instantly likable, and their character development was absolutely flawless. I loved watching them heal, grow as individuals, and find each other, both on their own and together. While the romance was wonderful, the story offered so much more! Heartfelt moments, important life lessons, and empowering self-discovery. The road trip vibe was spot on and the touches of humor added the perfect balance.
I already miss them. This was a great read!!!

This book was such an emotional ride, to follow Honor and Cara from utter devastation, felling so betrayed to something so inspiring when they process everything and find a way to move on. The whole idea to ride off on an adventure to show their cheating exes and everyone else that they are happier than ever on social media via reels is brilliant. There are so many moments in the book that are so awesome and inspiring. They are so sweet together and hilarious at time when they get to know each other, share their feelings and past experiences and go from friends to something way more than that.
As a reader you just feel you need to finish the book in one sitting to make sure Honor and Cara can get over their exes, see what they have in front of each other and getting over some additional bumps on the way to a potential amazing future together. I highly recommend beautifully written book!

I went into this book thinking that it would be much more on the somber side with the topics of infidelity and divorce, but was pleasantly surprised by the humor. This book had me laughing out loud multiple times. It did have scenes with Honey and Cara dealing with all the emotions of having cheating spouses. Margo Glynn did a great job of balancing both throughout the book.
Road trip books are favorites of mine. This was a great example of one where the characters grew closer over their adventures. I love the escapism of reading a road trip book and getting to experience the places the characters go to along with them.
Honey and Cara's bond was beautiful and I really enjoyed following them on their road trip. I liked the aspect of the vlogging of their trip, especially how that was used later in the plot. If Margo Glynn writes more books, I'll definitely pick them up. I highly enjoyed Honey and Cara's story.

This book was a lovely, heartfelt and fun sapphic road trip book with likeable main characters and and a beautifully developed romance set almost a backdrop of heartbreak and natural wonder.
Honey and Cara have so much in common, more than just their exes and childhood friends who run off with one another, and they realize along a road trip meant to make their exes jealous of their newfound solo happiness, that things had been missing in both of their lives for so long and they didn’t even notice. It took a trip with one another to realize how much time they wasted trying to make things better for their partners when they should have giving themselves far more grace and in discovering that, they also found newfound respect and appreciation for one another.
I liked this book a lot and while I don’t think every contemporary romance needs a dual POV narrative, I think this book would have benefited from one given both women were truly in the same boat re: their relationships ending due to infidelity and their partners getting together. Anywhere with You is told from Honey’s perspective and while I really loved her voice as a character and felt her internal monologue was incredibly strong, the book was just as much about Cara. I liked them together and their banter and chemistry was really great right from the get go but I think given the severity of the situation; the infidelity on both sides and the discovery of who these women are as individuals outside of their marriages, Cara deserved her own side of the story given her life was unraveling alongside Honey’s.
Overall, this was a cute and quick read that I would definitely recommend if you’re looking for something about starting over and the noticing something that’s been right in front of you all along.
Thank you to NetGalley and Bold Stroke Books for the ARC of this book! It comes out on September 9th!

It doesn’t always happen but I instantly felt connected to the two main characters. They felt real and the way their emotions and growing relationship was written was so well done.
It was a good slow burn with the characters learning about themselves and each other throughout the book. It’s definitely a book I will return to reread.
Thanks to NetGallery and the Publisher for this Arc in exchange for my honest review.

With such a tough topic as cheating and divorce, I was expecting a more somber tone for this one, and was pleasantly surprised to find some of the funniest dialogue I've read in a while. This book covers those tough topics in a lighthearted and refreshing way, focusing on healing and moving forward for both our characters, instead of dwelling too much on the past.
I really liked the dynamic between Cara and Honey. Their adventure was so much fun to read about, and I loved that they both got a chance to find happiness again.
There were a few parts I was hesitant about, namely the secret Cara was hiding and whether had I been in a similar situation if I could've forgiven her. As well, there were times I felt the relationship might have been too fast. However, the book is focused more on looking to the future, so I can understand how the characters were eager to leave the past behind and move on.
Overall, this is a funny, sweet book about the ending of a relationship and finding new happiness through adventure and unexpected romance. 4.5/5 stars rounded up!

I really enjoyed this as a concept, it had that romance concept that I was wanting and enjoyed in this type of book. The overall feel worked with the genre and enjoyed how good the hope and humor worked in this universe. Margo Glynn was able to weave a strong storyline and was able to create something that I wanted from the description.

heartfelt and full of that warm humour that trickles through your whole read and out the pages to you. i found myself going "awww" a fair few times with this book. road trips books have to be done well to grab me. i don't know why but they are something that i've seen far too may 'bad'versions. but i read this blurb and saw the cover and thought, nah, this is a bit of me. and i'm so glad i listened to my reading gut.
we follow Honey and Cara in this story.they are both going through the ringer having found both the (becoming) ex's cheating on them.
they don't want to drown in ice-cream or misery. they don't want to get into a down spiral they will find harder to get out of. they don't want to focus on their ex's! no, they want to SHOW their ex's that they are ok. so a proposed road trip is put out there to make everyone including the cheats that they a better than fine without them.
so off they set together across the country. and what a ride they have. the hours that go by in the car together, the shared rooms at stops along the way and few other adventurous moments all bring these two the moments they needed both as individuals and together. and very soon their feelings of support and friendship begins to develop into something unexpected for each other.
but life isn't done with them yet. because there are still secrets amongst even the pair of them. something that neither of them need right now. there has been enough lies and hidden secrets.
so can they get through it? should they get through it? was this a road trip one off or the start of something more?
this was a thoughtful and fun read. the travels were great to follow alongside the story of our pair. how they heal, how they grow, how they move onwards. i was rooting for the pair of them. there was something more there for me beyond just being connected by their recent pains. and who knows how things start? and i genuinely felt angst when they fell out!
this was an emotional story with so much deep and meaningful moments. but it truly showed how when you have the support and love of someone to shoulder it with you, and sometimes shoulder it for you it can really make the difference. it can change everything when you start to feel safe again.
i loved this book. brilliant.

Honey and Cara are friendly towards each other, but not exactly close friends. When their spouses walk out on them to be with each other instead, a months-long affair comes to light. Feeling betrayed and angry, Honey and Cara decide to go on a much-needed vacation. Screw those cheating bastards. What’s the plan? Honey and Cara go on a road trip to take a break from the stress and mess that is their lives now. They’ll share their adventures on social media and show their exes that they’re doing fan-fucking-tastic.
So, from UFO museums and gas station stops, to animal chases, to holding hands, and to the possibility of something more. Honey and Cara have quite an adventure and grow quite close. So much so that the smiles and laughs aren’t just for the reels that their exes may or may not see, but for them. And maybe, just maybe, they are the adventure.
A must-read! There were many laugh-out-loud moments from beginning to end, and I was pleasantly surprised. I honestly thought that I might laugh once or twice, but I was wrong. I laughed way more than that and my cheeks hurt from smiling so damn much.
It wasn’t all fun and games though, because there were some serious topics where I got teary-eyed. The reflection on their marriages, the vulnerability they showed, and how they supported each other in those moments made me emotional. The relationship hit a bump in the road, got a flat tire, took a wrong turn, if you will, that I did not see coming, but I felt like it was needed. Overall, I loved it and highly recommend giving it a read. So grab some snacks and make a playlist because this was an epic adventure.
“Come away with me, and I’ll never stop loving you” - Norah Jones

Heartfelt, emotional, and so so adorable!
I really thought this was a great story and I just love the road trip vibes.
This follows Honey and Cara, two women who are going through divorces after their spouses cheated on them.
To get out of a slump (and to make their exes jealous), Cara proposes that they go on a road trip together, from their home in Texas to the California Redwoods.
Through countless hours in a car together, shared hotel rooms, and running for their lives in the Arizona desert- they develop unexpected feelings for each other.
Things take a turn for the worst when Honey discovers that Cara knows something about their former spouses that she doesn’t.
Now they must either make amends or accept that their road trip fling was only temporary.
This was incredibly fun.
I always love a story with a traveling theme!
We get to see the main characters grow and develop so much, which is always a huge win for me.
Honey and Cara were so compatible! I was so rooting for them.
The slow burn was actually hurting me. I was desperate for them to finally get together.
When they got together? Oh so good.
When they fought? Oh so devastating.
There is an emotional aspect to this story, of course.
Given the fact that it is about cheating spouses, both main characters are on a healing journey and discuss a lot of things pertaining to their struggles and past marriages.
They are so kind and supportive to each other though. They gave each other a real shoulder to cry on and that was beautiful.
Cara’s journey was particularly special to me.
She talks about how she wanted to go on the road trip to embrace her new-found independence- something that she never had previously. I thought this was so cute and I felt so connected to her in that moment.
This was just so touching overall.
A beautiful story, beautifully written.
