Bryn is the bride-to-be and she has invited her friends in the hope that they will sort out their differences. There’s Cali and Luke who used to be a couple, Joe and Joss a warring brother and sister and Sara, who used to share a house with the group but always felt slightly left out. Oh and there’s Ember, Bryn’s ex-girlfriend who wonders if there might just be a chance to rekindle the relationship…

Although this really isn’t a Christmas story, it is Christmastime in Canada. The weather is a beautiful winter wonderland. That is if you aren’t caught in a heavy snowfall aboard a train.

Have to admit I really wasn’t a fan of the narrator plus the ex-friends bickering got a bit annoying. However……there are many audio performers that were great and made the story real.

I did love hearing about Canada in the winter –the beauty is amazing.
A comment is made about smiling ~ ‘It is so beautiful that my smile wants to jump out of me!

This was my first Isla Gordon. This story wasn’t a sweet cozy Christmas story I was expecting –thus my 3 Stars.
I believe others who have read her many snowy stories will totally enjoy this.
I did like the ending!
Awww I did smile at the description of the Bride & Bride both being Beautiful!

It is an author’s Note ~ Ms. Gordon tells us that the area where this took place was involved in the Wildfires that occurred in Canada this summer.
Our hope is Mother Nature will do her thing and once the vegetation grows back it will once again be beautiful.
