Needed to stop reading immediately due to use of the word “fag”.
This is my biggest concern when picking up lgbtqa+ books. I wish I had the ability to sample this or had a warning in the blurb that this word would be used. I understand own voices authors often use these terms to take power back from them but I’m personally not there yet and this word hit me like ton of bricks.
