Love love love! I didn’t read this I sang it haha!
Super cute! Perfect for Christmas and dog lovers! Would make a lovely gift
Illustrations are stunning!! Perfect read for the festive period

The illustrations in this book are GORGEOUS! Loved the book tying back to the 12 days of Christmas song but the real show stopper is the illustrations in this book.

Thanks to NetGalley and Cider Mill Press for allowing me to read and review this delightful book! My review is voluntarily given, and all opinions are my own.
The Twelve Days of Christmas Dogs by Amanda Sobotka, illustrated by Chris Dunn, is an absolute joy. I loved it so much I want to gift it to everyone I know—even those without children! The illustrations are vibrant and charming, with plenty of funny touches. As a Frenchie owner, I especially adored the scene with three French Bulldogs flying through the sky on a sled—it perfectly captures their playful energy. This is such a fun and creative twist on a Christmas classic!

Spookily, I was reminded just yesterday how few shopping days left before Christmas. What better time to look around and try out a few special books for children this coming festive time of good food, families and present sharing.
I love the collective experience of joining in with other voices and singing along to the 12 days of Christmas. I was delighted then when I got a chance to view an advanced reading copy of this little gem “The Twelve Days of Christmas Dogs: The Classic Edition.”
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
My grandchildren loved it as the different breeds of dogs appeared each passing day; guessing what type of hound was up next and making up their own variations.
A fully absorbing book; with a clever retelling of this famous song and supported by wondrously colourful illustrations. The dogs come alive and find their place seamlessly in this jolly tune.
Beautifully produced and filled with winter activities to delight and prepare the family for the holiday period. I love Christmas and without being a complete pet lover I will happily find room for this book and these adorable animals that capture the magic of this special occasion.

This story is super cute and straight to the point. I’m sure the kids would love this book. Such a fun way to spice up 12 days of Christmas by using dogs. It’s simple, & funny I like it.
Thank you NetGalley & Amanda for giving me the opportunity to read this Arc!

"The Twelve Days of Christmas Dogs" is a fun twist on the classic song "The Twelve Days of Christmas". This picture book features detailed (and adorable!) illustrations of dogs in a variety of nostalgic Christmas scenes. If you have a dog-lover in your home, this is a perfect Christmas gift! Even I found myself enjoying it, and I am very much on the "cat person" side of things.

Oh, how I loved this! The art style feels wonderfully nostalgic, reminiscent of classic children’s books like ’Twas the Night Before Christmas. The illustrations are absolutely gorgeous, brimming with charming details. And honestly, good luck reading this without singing along to The Twelve Days of Christmas (with the new and improved lyrics, of course!). It’s festive and fun!
Thank you to NetGalley, Cider Mill Press, Applesauce Press, and Amanda Sobotka for the advanced copy in exchange for my honest opinion.

Love! This book is so fun, yet classic (almost nostalgic?), it'll be an automatic purchase for my kids' Christmas book collection! Thank you, NetGalley!

This book cracks me up! It was so silly and fun and the illustrations are amazing. I think this would be a great gift or family bedtime story. I’m tempted to pick up a copy for myself just for the whimsy.
