Perfect OV book to get you in the Christmas mood. A Pack for Winter was definitely not lacking in the spice department and once again we get to see our beloved Felix work his match making magic!

Thanks Netgallery and Putnam's for the E-ARC of A Pack for Winter in exchange of an honest review.

The day has come, I have officially read a WHY choose romance...A OMEGAVERSE why choose romance. How would've thought? Not me! This was a wild ride and while there are aspects I enjoyed (found family will always be a weakness of mine, and I guess I love the idea of omegaverse to an extent), I don't think why choose romances are for me, and you know what? THAT IS OK!

The writing was not bad, and it's an extremely fast paced book that can be read in a day or so. I do think that despite all that was going on (AND THERE WAS A LOT GOING ON FOR ME), the story itself is TOO cozy? And don't get me wrong, I understand that its supposed to be cozy, but at the same time, it has the potential to be very forgettable. Of the three MMCs, only 1 of them had my heart and I wanted for from him and about him, but I do have to say that each have very distinct voices which is something that speaks to the writing not being bad, and while the FMC was relatable, she could've been more assertive, and not wait until the 75-80% of the book to actually have some character development.

All and all, if you like COZY books and WHY choose romances, give this one a try.

Thanks again to Netgallery and Putnam's for the E-ARC of A Pack for Winter in exchange of an honest review.

This was such a cozy and emotional shifter romance that hit all the wintery vibes perfectly. I loved the mix of pack dynamics, family bonds, and a romance that felt warm and genuine. The snowy setting added that extra layer of comfort that made it an ideal seasonal read. Some of the story beats were a little predictable, but it didn’t take away from how sweet and engaging it was. If you’re looking for a heartfelt paranormal romance to curl up with on a cold night, this one definitely delivers.

A Pack for Winter was a cozy, cute, and spicy read. I loved all of the characters, especially the cat, Felix. I personally think this book was more spice than plot but still really enjoyable. However, I wish we got to see of the pack after they got together as a group. If you're looking for a low angst, cozy omegaverse I would recommend this.

Thank you to NetGalley and G.P. Putnam's Sons for this ARC copy!

I loved this book! Winter and her pack are the sweetest. It's a fun foray into the omega verse world without it feeling overwhelming or too dark. I really appreciated the personalities of all of the characters and the love story is perfect! Cannot wait for book 3 in the series!

I got this from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you to Netgalley and the author and publisher for the chance to read this.

I read a lot of romances but haven't read a lot in the Omegaverse because I am hesitant about the power dynamics of alphas and omegas This one, labeled cozyverse, intrigued me and I wanted to see if this would work for me.

The men (two alphas and one beta) were all charming. The bond between Rome and James, an alpha and a beta, formed before they ever met Ivy, was strong and appealed to me. The loner Logan becoming part of the pack was touching. Ivy was bit of a mess, but that was more because she was too much of a people pleaser and not because she was an omega. It was harder for me to see her as the center of a loving pack (to be honest, James seemed to fill that role better for me). The smut level was high and explicit, but fit the story being told.

I rated this 3-1/2 stars (rounded down) because while I enjoyed the writing and the characters and the romance, I found Ivy a little too irritating.

“A Pack for Winter” by Eliana Lee

“You’re ours. Ours to take care of in every way you need. Do you understand?”

Am I in my cozy omegaverse era? I think I might be. This book was an absolute delight, and I have a strong suspicion it will be a future reread, because the cozy vibes were off the charts! I had the best time reading about Ivy and her pack.

This is technically book two in a standalone series called the Cozyverse, and it stands strong on its own if you’re just wanting to read this particular story. However, as soon as I finished, I immediately downloaded the first book; I can’t get enough of these characters.

“A Pack for Winter” is about Ivy Winter, an omega in her early 30’s who works as a schoolteacher. She is the definition of a first born daughter, taking on all the tasks and responsibilities for those around her, overextending herself to the point of burnout (and of course not realizing she’s teetering in that direction). Rome Chandrasinghe is an alpha and new music teacher at the school, and he’s bonded with his beta mate, James Chen, the town vet. And Logan Bennett, another alpha, works as the town electrician, and has known Ivy the longest.

The four kind of dance around their attraction without being outright, until an opportunity ordained by fate brings them together. Stuck inside Ivy’s classroom during a blizzard, and with an unexpected heat arriving, the three men help Ivy through the experience. Everything clicks after that, and realizations that pack living is just within their grasp, becomes the primary focus.

Something that I love about omegaverse stories is that it has its own rules within the romance genre. Because these characters act on a biological level first, and emotions second, we often see kind of a reverse slow burn: they hook up, then they have to figure out what to do next. Ivy’s first heat was so hot, and the way all the guys helped her navigate it was just…ugh, it was so much fun to read.

When a pack wants to bring an omega into the mix they start the courting process, bringing them gifts, taking them on dates, and generally being of service to them in some way. I loved how all of the dates turned out to be disasters, because it held that thread of relatability throughout a rather far out story.

This is my first Eliana Lee book, and it’s safe to say I’m a big fan already. I’m really excited to see where this series goes, and to read about all of the other packs. I 100% recommend this book if you’re interested in omegaverse, love a cozy romance, or crave those immaculate winter vibes.

This book was the cutest while also being perfectly smutty. This story is a Why Choose, Omegaverse, Small Town Romance, that is perfect for the holidays.

I truly loved every character and their relationship together. I really enjoyed that the guys bonded together as much as they did with her. Each of their back stories really came together in what they brought to the relationship.

This was my first Eliana Lee book and I'm excited to go back and enjoy A Pack for Autumn.

Thank you Netgalley for the eARC. My thoughts and review are my own and have not been biased by the fact.

4,25 stars - sweet, cozy and warm🩷 I really love the vibe of the small town where this series takes place, and this book felt like returning home to it again🩷

This author's writing just really does it for me, and this book delivered exactly what I was hoping for and needed from it. The characters are loveable and fun, the setting is cozy and immediately feels like home, and the story was exciting enough to keep me engaged but cozy and sweet enough to not be stressful or heavy to read.
The cat remains the MVP of this town, and I love him so so much!

Highly recommend to both new and old readers of the omegaverse genre, especially with a cup of hot chocolate and a cat purring next to you.
I cannot wait for more of this series!

What do you mean, my fave omegaverse author is going trad?! The best omegaverse I swear. The only way it could have been more perfect is if the girls were more present in this book like they were in the first one, but otherwise I truly gobbled this up. Eliana always does an amazing job with diverse representation in her characters, which always is a plus in my books. I loved that one of the MMC's wasn't absolutely jacked as alpha's are typically portrayed and had insecurities about his age and body. These are typically things characterized for FMC's and it was so refreshing to see a male character go through this as well. But of course we love us a big teddy bear! And the SPICE. Oh the spice. Eliana's spice hits so good every time 😏. I will never not love the way that Eliana manages to build in some really emotional moments, both tear-jerking and “awww” moments, that outshines what you know is some damn good spice. A perfect omegaverse story for the holidays and that Christmas epilogue??? Must read. 🥵🥵

I was hoping to get approved for this ARC, and I’m so glad I did! As the title implies, this is a very cozy why-choose MMFM omegaverse book.

Ivy is an omega teacher who is totally overwhelmed with work and everything in her life. Rome, an alpha teacher at her school, and his beta, James, are interested in courting Ivy to become their omega. Another alpha, Logan, is also interested in Ivy. After unexpectedly going into heat during a snowstorm, the two alphas and the beta help Ivy through it, and thus begins their courtship as a pack.

I loved how each man brought a different dynamic to the pack that helped Ivy. Rome helps her reduce stress and get organized, James helps her learn to accept being taken care of, and Logan is her protector.

If you’re looking for something super sweet and spicy, definitely check this out!!

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC from Netgalley yesterday, and I have already read and devoured this book. Obviously, this cover screams winter, so I thought I might hold off reading it for a month or two. I couldn’t wait. This was exactly what I was in the mood for and it was what I needed now. We follow Ivy, a thirty one year old omega teacher who loves her job and town. She doesn’t believe she will find a pack until a snowstorm leaves her stranded with three men.
A Pack for Winter is omegaverse mixed with Gilmore Girls. This book is so cozy! The town was decked out for the holidays and had festivals. There is even a delightful meddling cat. Ivy’s friends and family really help develop the atmosphere, and I’m curious to read their books, as well. While this is a charming and cozy environment, this book is also spicy. There is a lot of spice, but the novel balances it out well with cozier or more wholesome moments. As someone who is pretty new to omegaverse, this book was a great introduction. It explained all the language and roles for a pack.
Rome, Logan, James, and Ivy were a great ensemble. I liked how we followed each of their perspectives at times. They were all so sweet and you could feel the care they had for the whole pack at all times. Each of them added something different to the group. I, especially, loved the focus on Rome and Ivy as teachers. For a cozy book, it didn’t shy away from the struggles and joys teachers face.
This isn’t an all-time favorite new book for me, but I can see myself coming back to this book during winter times in the future. I also really want to check out the rest of the series. If you need a comforting read this winter, look no further.

📖 Bookish Thoughts
This one didn’t quite land like A Pack for Autumn. I missed some of the cozy charm and humor I loved in book one. I also didn't connect with any of the MMCs, and Ivy's constant self-sabotage had me frustrated. I understand she is very insecure but she was so self destructive. I do feel like she did start making a bit of progress towards the ending of the book but it was still annoying.

Ivy Winter is our sweet gentle selfless omega who was incredibly relatable and real. We 𝘼𝙇𝙇 get caught up in being overworked and distracted by other things, often forgetting and neglecting to take care of ourselves. And it's really hard to just let go and let others help sometimes, even when they are two alphas and a beta 𝘿𝙔𝙄𝙉𝙂 to show you love and attention. Rome with his can-do attitude, Logan and his grumpy reserve who secretly wants love, and James the flirt you can't help but fall for. The pack they form together is built on friendship, respect, love, and ended up being a family they all needed.

This makes us wish it was winter already, especially with how hot this summer has been. It definitely made us FEEL all the winter vibes. And don't let this adorable cover fool you, it's spiiiiicy af. But also cute. Seriously the cutest.

And we can't forget about everyone's favorite sweet nosy mischievous feline Felix! We know exactly what he'll be up to next and we can't wait for it! 🌷

These small town cozy stories have really crept up on us and made themselves known in the best way. As mood readers who have been in a funk lately, this has really felt cozy and warm like a good strong hug and we love it.

Ivy Noelle Winter was quietly living her best single omega life, teaching fifth graders, binge-watching baking shows, and absolutely not thinking about packing herself up in a forever pack. Until one snowstorm, a power outage, and a classroom full of men later…heat hits, pheromones flare, and suddenly her life takes a turn for the spicy and unexpected.

Enter Rome, the alpha music teacher; James, the beta vet with charm to spare; and Logan, the town’s grumpy-but-intriguing alpha electrician. Their attempts to court her? Honestly, swoonable, book club banter plus pack-bond banter equals cozy reader bliss.

What I loved:

The found-family feel is tight and genuine.

Ivy’s world-weariness balanced the bold pack energy just right.

The winter setting was comfort-level cozy, blankets, fireplaces, slow sips of hot cocoa—perfect seasonal read.

What left me wanting more:

I needed deeper emotional connection, more moments where Ivy's heart actually felt the choice.

The progression from heat to full-on romance felt rushed, like we glossed over Ivy’s internal conflict.

IF I’m being picky, I wanted one more scene where all four of them just…were. No drama, no words, just existing together in that snow-glow magic.

If you’re into:
✨ Cozy reverse-harem omegaverse
✨ Strong heroine quietly finding her people
✨ Small-town charm hit with seasonal romance energy

Then A Pack for Winter will warm your heart, even if it didn’t fully steal it.

Thank you for the ARC!

Okay but…this book is basically a Hallmark snowstorm movie if they discovered omegaverse and spice. Ivy is the ultimate relatable heroine thirty-one, thriving on lesson plans and baking shows, fully resigned to a cozy single life, she can be annoying at times tho but I loved her quirkiness.

And then she gets snowed in with three swoony men. Cue the sparks, the scents, and a very inconvenient mini heat. Rome is sweet, James is a flirt, Logan is grumpy in the best way, and together they somehow convince Ivy (AND ME) that maybe a pack is exactly what she deserves (I DESERVE)

The story is cozy, funny, and surprisingly tender, with just enough spice, it's a perfect holiday read for December. The whole book is basically heat, humor, and a grumpy electrician I now want to marry. Marry me Logan lmfao

4 ⭐️ I would absolutely get snowed in again with these guys

Thank you Eliana and Putnam books for my early copy!

A small town, cozy, why choose omegaverse romance at its finest. A Pack for Winter hit all the right spots for a feel-good quick easy read with a good plot, great characters and steamy romance.

Also, I really love the idea of a series of standalones that work together to build a small town and the relationships therein. I'm so happy for Ivy's time to shine. Her alphas and beta were perfect for her. I can't wait for the next one!
