This was a strong sequel in the Calinore Chronicles series, it had that feel that I was looking for and enjoyed how it improved on the previous entry. Theresa Leyes writes a strong story and was glad I read this. The characters were everything that I was looking for and was invested in what was going on and was hooked from the first page.
