I really enjoyed getting to read this book, it gave the information that I was wanting and enjoyed from this type of book. It had that historical research that I was expecting and had never thought about who came after Queen Elizabeth I. It had that research element and enjoyed the overall concept that was told from Beverley Adams.

An interesting and in-depth look at Elizabeth Tudor’s heirs and the man who won the race to succeed her - James I. A great survey - even if the information presented isn’t new to fans of the English Monarchy.
