A very good mystery. Beth Cunningham lived through a very difficult time during her childhood. Now, since her mother passed away, she's determined to live her life to the full. She buys a bookshop in Oban and does very well for herself. After the inaugural crime book club meeting, one of the attendees is found dead in the bookshop and Beth ends up as the prime suspect. Together with her staff and her lawyer, she's determined to find the real culprit. Things get very difficult and complicated very quickly with a few interesting twists. This is a great mystery and, with all the secrets being revealed, I didn't manage to work it out till the end! I look forward to more in the series.
