I really enjoyed this book at the time, I thought it was a very interesting and fresh concept. The cover art was also really nice!

I made it up to chapter 13 before I put the book down for good. Not only could I not get into, not only did I not care for Eila but I did not like the writing style. Everything was I did this and then I. I have never seen so many Is on one page in my life.

This was the biggest struggle for me and disconnect. I wasn't sucked into the story and it felt that the author didn't do a very good job of hiding the fact that she is beating around the bush to extend the story. Although it wasn't a slow paced novel, there wasn't anything really holding me there after the opening scene, which was the best part of the book. It made a promise for something amazing to come and it didn't deliver.
