A child’s vivid imagination brings this story to life. Part of a series that kids will want to read over and over. The illustrations are cute. This is a book you can read to little ones or they could read to you because there are not many words.

Thank you for the ARC. This was a cute book about imagination. It was bright and colorful and a fun read.

My kids and I have been enjoying the Never Let a... books and were excited for another. Never Let a Princess Paint with Her Unicorn shows that sometimes being creative can be a little messy. The story is sweet and shows how the girl is always using her imagination. We loved the illustrations! It was another winner with my kiddos.
Thanks to Sourcebooks Kids and NetGalley for an eARC of this book for an honest review.

Never Let a Princess Paint with Her Unicorn! (Funny Unicorn Picture Book series For Ages 4-8)

a unicorn book series to add to the if you give a mouse a cookie series. that shows a series of events with a magical twist. This book is very colorful.

This is a cute story about imagination including some wish fulfillment. I don't know if it fully capitalized in the message department, but it was really adorable and it played with using a lot of color and then using no color in a very creative way. I would recommend the series to very young kids.

This had a lot of simple language that could be work for my lower level English language learners - but also a really great choice for my own daughter who lives in her own little kingdom of believing she is the princess.

So much imagination, there's a story within the story that kids will feel so clever figuring out. And the drawings are so colorful and alive. This is a book to read again and again.

This is the second book I've read in this series. What a fun way to encourage children to be creative and have fun with art. I would recommend this book to parents and teachers as a way to show that playing and making a mess (sometimes) is part of being a child.
