I made the mistake of requesting the third book in a series without having read the first two books; that's on me. I found the first few chapters helped me get caught up on the worldbuilding and plot of the series so I was not lost. Thank you to the author for doing that so skillfully. The story reminded me of the television series Dead Like Me, but with much larger stakes and futuristic fantastical storytelling. I love a good forbidden romance plot to boot. Overall I give Fated 4 stars.

Thank you to NetGalley and AmazonPublishing for an ebook copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Last in the series, I felt closer and at the same time was happy it was over. technically I gave this one 3.5 stars as it felt a bit more like a soap opera story to me than I remember in the first 2 books.

Recommended for fans of Romantic Fantasy.

When Aislin Ferry has to figure out what is going on with her family and threaten Aislin's hold on the power of Charon and the Lord of the Kere . Jason Moros has his own family problems . They have to work together and figure out what is going on and basically save the world and reset order . In order to save the world they must surrender completely to each other and fight the enemy . One must make the ultimate sacrifice .
The characters in this story are truly complex and so well written . This is the third book in the series so the author really makes theses characters pop. Aislin is such a strong woman and she really kicks some butt in this book. She is a strong business woman that will not take anything from anyone . But there is a part of her that I think wants love and to be loved. Jason is a Death and well he is kind of hot . He is complex and when with Aislin they work really good . I really like them as a couple and they do kick butt together . They are great characters on their own but together they are great .
I sat down and started reading this book and I couldn't put it down . I have read the other books in the series but I really just didn't want to read this book cause I knew it was the last book in the series .The author takes us on an emotional rollercoaster ride . There are parts of the book that will have you on the edge of your seat and laughing . Oh yes there are some romantic sexy moments in the book that could have you blushing . The author did a good job of bringing everything full circle . So if you want a fun series for your summer reading list check them out

If you haven't read this series, then I would suggest going and getting the first book, Marked, and not reading this review. You can read the review that I wrote for Marked though! :)

This is the 3rd (and final?) book in the series. A lot of stuff has happened in the first two books and you can bet that there are a lot of things happening in this one. Aislin Ferry has been left in charge of the reaper business that her father ran. She is not having an easy go of it. There are beings that shouldn't exist wreaking havoc all over the city and the Veil. Jason Moros is the Lord of the Kere and he is committed to helping Aislin but her family and colleagues do not trust him. Aislin has a different approach to him; she's intrigued by him and is even having thoughts of a relationship with him.

I really like this series and I thought this was a great book and if it's the end of the series then it was a fun ride. I'm sad if it the end because I like these characters a lot and this story of reaping souls and delivering them to their end. There is a lot of action and suspense in this story and some romance thrown in as well. While I'm not a huge fan of the romance genre, there are times when it is necessary. This is one of those forbidden love type stories and those always make for a great read. I hope that the author brings back this series or at least some of the characters (maybe prequels or spin offs?). I would definitely read more about this world.

Welp, I thought about how much I disliked/was annoyed by the second book in this series (Claimed) which I review over here: REVIEW That leaves me deciding to focus on all the other books that I have to read and am super excited about.

Going to mark this one as unfinished, but it's also untried so therefore unrated.
