I love this recipe collection and it would make the perfect gift for so many people I know!! I was drawn in immediately by the art and the author’s storytelling ability, and I wanted to trying something new. I’ve actually never attempted by own cocktails and this book made me realise how easy it is for me to make my favourites at home. I tried 6 of these with a friend and the process was super clear, plus they tasted WONDERFUL! My personal favourite is the Woods in Winter. I also like that some recipes have tips to alter the drink to better suit your taste. I’ll definitely be grabbing a copy when this comes out!

As a romantasy reader, I was drawn into this cocktail cookbook. It's set up in a very straightforward way, and even includes basics of drink making (glassware, how to cut things, etc.). The names of the drinks are pretty funny and I like that there is a lot of variety, including cocktails and pitchers. There is theoretically a picture for each drink, but they are illustrations and I would have preferred actual photos so that I could know what things should look like. This would be a fun gift for the romantasy readers in your life!
Thanks to Cider Mill Press and NetGalley for an eARC of this cookbook for an honest review.

A little something for everyone from brewing your own syrups to a variety of spirits, pitchers and punches and even a zero proof section. The photo's seem AI generated but the book is a beautiful collection of unique cocktails and graphics. Gather around the cauldron and pour yourself a festive cocktail from this unique menu. Thank you to the author, publisher and Netgalley for the opportunity.

This cocktail book is super cute! Davis did a great job pairing cute romantasy blurbs with each cocktail. The illustrations are beautiful and add a nice touch to the book as well as giving a hint as to what the drink should look like. The cocktails themselves look delicious, and I’m excited to try a few! I think the one I’m most excited to try is Glamour Potion. I love butterfly pea syrup and a little sparkle in my drinks. There’s also a section for pitchers to share with a group. I can’t wait to try the Faerie Fizz with some friends!
For those who don’t drink, it also includes some delicious sounding zero-proof options. In particular the Lavender Lemonade looks amazing.
Thank you to Jassy Davis and Cider Mill Press for providing an ebook. I am voluntarily leaving this honest review.

This is so cute, love the aesthetics and full of lots of nice cocktails with a romantasy twist. Cannot wait to make some of these with my book club.

This book is so fun and creative! The recipes are playful, magical, and perfect for spicing up any book club night—especially if your group loves a good, themed cocktail party. I also really appreciated the inclusivity, with an entire section dedicated to “zero proof” options so everyone can join in.
My only small critique is that the drink images aren't actual photos—more like AI-generated illustrations. Personally, I prefer real photos to get a better idea of what the finished drink should look like.
Overall though, this is a charming and imaginative cocktail book that blends fantasy vibes with mixology in the cutest way. A great gift for readers and cocktail lovers alike!

Romantasy Cocktails is a fun, innovative, and unique idea! I have never seen a cocktail book that blends mixology with romantasy. Jassy Davis starts by walking you through the essentials that you need and how to make your own syrups at the beginning. Every cocktail looks gorgeous and amazing, yet not overwhelming to make. I'm looking forward to trying some of these! The visuals are absolutely stunning, making this as much fun to flip through as it will be to use. I can’t wait to try a few of these drinks for a themed night or book club! This is a perfect pick for romantasy fans, home entertainers, or anyone who wants to add a little enchantment to their cocktails.

Oh my gosh, this Romantasy Cocktails book is actually so cute and so innovative and unique!!?? I've legitimately never seen anything like this and this was such a great way to delve into mixing things up (pun intended) with cocktails but throwing in a love of romantasy?? I'm definitely thinking about using a few of these at my next book club!! Such incredible interior designs and formatting, great recipes, including the syrups (I'm looking at you lavender syrup). The Starlight Pool is the cocktail I'm most excited to test out! Starlight? Floral? Lilac? Sharp? Sounds utterly divine! Then, I'll try the Woods in Winter. Truly, this is so incredible and so unique and just so fun??? Obsessed.

Such a cute book! I love the descriptions with each drink and the drink names. It’s clear the author had a lot of fun making this book. I found several recipes that interest me and plan on making the drinks for myself and my book friends. I also appreciated that alcohol-free recipes were included.

Some nice cocktail options.
The syrup recipes at the start were a bit different I hadn’t seen all of those before so it would make for some unique tasting cocktails. It is not your typical recipe book, there are definitely some new twists and flavours to experience.

I adore the idea of this, the inclusion of the zero proof and pitcher recipes makes it so everyone can enjoy a special cocktail, or you can make plenty at once to host your book club. I did feel as if some of the matching artwork for the drinks didn’t fit very well with their backgrounds. There was a high quality background with dark colors and dragons, and a very suspiciously similar castle to that what is at Disney world, but then it would move to a more pastel background which kinda threw off the fantasy vibes. But not only that, again you had a high quality detailed image with what looked like a clip art drink stuck on top of it. It may be a better idea to lean one way or the other. Maybe an actual picture of the drink to fit the background or a background that matches the way the drinks themselves are drawn. I did love that the author included certain fantasy tropes into the drinks such as fated mates, an alpha drink (loved that one), and the Brojito which really reminded me of cassian, azreal and Rhys.

This is brilliant. What 20 something young woman isn’t day dreaming about a girls night spent reading with cocktails? This is a must for any themed birthday party or girls night! The Forbidden Kiss is my favorite. Every single one of my friends is getting a copy of this for Christmas. Chef’s kiss!

Such a cute cocktail book!
Each page is filled with romantasy lingo and fun cocktails!
There are also a few mocktails which makes this perfect for everyone!

What a fun book! This is great for anyone wanting to elevate their next romantasy book club night with fun, fantasy themed cocktails. I can’t wait to try out some of these homemade syrups and recreate a lot of these recipes into mocktails for me and the girls at our next meetup. My only complaint is I would have loved to see actual pictures of the drinks rather than graphic art. I’m a visual person so it would be nice to see an example of the finished product.

Pretty good book of Romantasy themed drinks. The illustrations was a nice touch. They were a great range of drinks with non alcoholic and pitchers type recipes.

This is the cocktail book you need to celebrate the coming of ACOTAR Book 6. All of the Romantasy themed cocktails! Brimming with decadent and delicious mixed drinks - with or without alcohol - this book has something for everyone.

Beautifully illustrated with imaginative cocktail recipes. If you like fussing with ingredients and experimenting, this is the book for you. Would make an especially good addition to a cocktail collector's shelf, and would also be perfect for hosting book groups or any kind of fun, elegant evening. It would also be fun to create a buffet with the most often-used ingredients (coffee liqueur, vanilla vodka, sparkling lemonade, and walnut bitters are mentioned frequently) and garnishes. There are also several mocktail recipes for those who'd prefer that (especially given that the alcoholic recipes sound quite potent indeed).

How fun! As someone who is just getting into at-home cocktails mixing, this came at a great time! I've always wanted to try and make my own syrups and these recipes are super easy to follow for a novice like myself.
The pages are beautifully styled, and I'm already working on my grocery list of items to buy for the drinks I'd love to make!
I've got my eye on the Raider's Gimlet, Glamour Potion, and Make Me Shiver. This will be especially perfect for a girl's night, especially with the section on zero-proof drinks that sound divine for those that cannot inbibe.
Cheers!

Romantasy Cocktails: 60 Spicy and Sweet Cocktails to Fall For by Jassy Davis is a must-have for romantasy fans who love a good drink. Dropping December 16, 2025, this 144-page gem pairs the steamy, magical vibes of A Court of Thorns and Roses with killer cocktails. The visuals are stunning—think glowing goblets and dragons curling around glasses, perfect for your BookTok shelf.
The 60 recipes are pure magic, capturing romantasy tropes like “Enemies-to-Lovers Sour” with fiery tang or “Forced Proximity Punch” for forbidden allure. Jassy includes non-alcoholic options like a zesty “Stabby Heroine Spritz,” and each drink has a flirty intro that feels like a novel excerpt. Her approachable style, seen in Gin Made Me Do It, makes mixing easy, with ingredients you can find or DIY.
Downsides? The romantasy theme might be niche for non-fans, and gin-heavy recipes could limit variety for whiskey or tequila lovers. Still, there’s plenty to sip and swoon over.
This book is perfect for book clubs, cozy nights, or gifting your romance-obsessed bestie. Jassy blends passion and fantasy into every glass—grab it and fall in love!

Somehow I ended up in a Cedar Mill Press rabbit hole and I stumbled across this Romantasy Cocktail book and how cute is it!! I love recipe books and romantasy so this captured my interest immediately. This would be so cute for gatherings, girls nights, book clubs, etc!
Some of the recipes felt a little too advanced for me personally but there were many to choose from so there are options for beginners to pros. They also offer pitcher recipes (great for gatherings) and zero proof recipes. I love a good mixed drink but the zero-proof section was great too - especially if you have guests who can't/don't drink during gatherings. :)
So many of the drink names and descriptions were so funny and right on trend - it would be super fun to flip through while hanging out! If you read through the descriptions above the recipes they are definitely entertaining.
If I passed by this at a HomeGoods or Marshalls while browsing I would definitely consider this for myself or as a gift for a friend. Funny, cute, fun recipes!
