This one ended up being a DNF for me. It's safe to say that I'm not a fan of football rom coms and love triangles. I'm sorry but I don't get eh point of those in rom coms.

a great read full of sparks and sparkle.
this book brings us to Sas. she has known the professional sports her whole life. shes grown up around it since her father was himself a sports agent for Hockey players. now after much hard work Sas has the chance to step into this world herself, as a job. this new job comes with a new challenge for her. and that is her client Colton. who lets just say hasn't been having the best time of it in the press pages recently. hes needs his reputation cleaned, and Sas just wants to keep her reputation in tact. she is determined to show she isn't her on her fathers whims but is here for being good at her job.can she clear his image? because what she didn't see being a problem was how she would feel when working with Colton. because underneath his bravado and acting out is a quit strength of heart and a man with some vulnerabilities all of his own. shes getting to know this man and more than liking what she finds. but how can she ever show this? how could she ever ruin every single thing she has worked for over the years? heart or head? its not always easy to decide and sometimes one doesn't listen to the other.
i loved reading the romance grow between these two both in romantic tension and heart levels.
you can really relate to Sas and the predicament she finds herself in. she needs to make a go at her job and be seen as a professional. she wants to show the doubters or whisperers. even from those closest to her there is rumbling of things you want to scream at.
Colton himself we get to see right into what hes going through in his personal life. and you get to see the truer sides of this man. how he and Sas interacts is both fizzy and sweet.
i was rooting for our pair on sight. i loved reading their story and was full invested in them as individuals going and getting through stuff but also then the strength and love they bought for and to each other.
