Morgan and Ben have just returned from a well earned break away when they're called to a remote campsite where the decomposed body of a woman has been found. Never a detective team to catch a break the next few days are hectic and tense and more bodies are discovered. Tristan joins the team to replace Amy who's gone on maternity leave and he is quickly thrown in at the deep end with no chance to get to know his new colleagues.
I just know that when a Morgan Brookes novel hits my kindle, I'm not going to get anything done until I've read the very last page. They are so addictive and each storyline as fresh as the very first.
This novel was darker than previous ones with little time for the humour than has appeared in previous novels. The ending was a surprise as well so can't wait for book 17.
