This collection of holiday stories take place in holidays often left out of holiday collections. The characters also represent voices we don't hear from as often. There are cultural differences as well as gender and sexuality, immigrant, economic, and family status. They are all heartfelt stories from endearing perspectives. Stories can be fully understood and enjoyed by readers who are familiar to the traditions being shared, or by those who are encountering them for the first time
