I had every intention of reading this book and writing an honest review but it expired before I had the chance. My apologies, If you like to resend it to me I would be happy to get it reviewed,

A bit thin. Fine but nothing exciting. I found the translations of common words (e.g. Profiteroles) in the text obtrusive.

I love the name of the book, I love traveling and love Italy. But...I didn't love the book. The information is good, the grammar and editing, perfect! But normally a book like this has me checking prices on the internet to find the next flight available to Italy. This was not the case. I only highlighted a restaurant I would like to check in Calabria on my next time I'm there. I didn't feel the "adventure". All too organized, a lot of driving, little time on the actual towns. Even little time visiting relatives. It felt like a check list.
