I waffled between 4.5 and 5 stars because of one small (actually massive) detail.

In the end, 5 stars have won me over. I love the first book. I've gifted it, had it read for book clubs, handsold the title, and generally talked about and posted it everywhere. I went into this book of survival with a bias.

And I am so thrilled that the charm continued. It's clever, biting, and humorous. The cast is familiar, the plot weaves itself together beautifully, and it finishes with the sweetest bow. I absolutely felt tears in my eyes on the final page.

It's a cozy read. I'm charmed and in love.
