I don't know what this style of writing is called in which one thing compounds until something changes but this is one of those books. I did like the style (maybe it's not used as much in the US as in Spanish kid books). This is a good book to talk to kids about sharing and cooperation. The illustrations are so adorable. They look like paper cutouts.

How cute is this book! I love the story, the dialog, the lesson and the artwork. As a teacher, I cannot wait to show my students this book! They will love it, especially Bennett. He’s just too cute. In a world of AI that we now live in, I’m happy to see a cover and artwork that is not AI generated. Overall just a lovely book!

I also love how you can get this book in Spanish and English. It’s perfect for me as I teach a lot of bilingual students.
