The Baby on My Doorstep
By: Miranda Smith

I look forward to every Miranda Smith book because I love her writing style and I know I will have time spent well.
Imagine your home alone and you get a knock on your door? Do you answer? Our protagonist opens the door to the best gift. A little baby wrapped in a blanket. Who could possibly drop off a baby?
The police are called and she soon realizes she is related by DNA to this baby? She finds out it is her sisters, but how can that be?? She believes her sister was killed a year ago?
This story keeps you guessing the motives and wonder what really happened to her sister.
The twists kept coming to a satisfying ending. Smith can’t write them fast enough for me. 😊

I really enjoyed this book. It was a twisty mystery that left me wondering what happened to Erin and who Rosie's father is. I thought I had it all figured out and I couldn't have been more wrong. This book kept me on the edge of my seat and despite being a little annoyed by Emily through the first few chapters, I really came to like her character. I love the way this book ended. I would definitely recommend this book to others.

The Baby on My Doorstep was a quick, twisty read that will have you flipping pages at a rapid rate! Erin has been missing and is presumed dead. Her sister, Emily, hasn't given up on finding out what happened. One night, Emily has a knock at the door and when she opens it, there's a baby on her doorstep. As if that isn't crazy enough, it's Erin's baby.

This book started off with a bang and didn't let up until the very end. It was fast paced and kept you guessing. The author did a great job sprinkling some red herrings in to kind of throw you off the scent. Some were more obvious than others. I did start to get an inkling about who the "bad guy" was about halfway through but there were still some twists that I didn't see coming at the end. My only criticism is the way the ending came together felt a little rushed. Overall though, this was a fun one!

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the advanced copy in exchange for my honest review.

Emily is having a hard time moving on since her sister disappeared a year ago. Her marriage is falling apart. She only has one friend to rely on. Then a baby shows up on her doorstep whose DNA matches herself. What is going on? Is her sister alive? This book is a quick read but full of twists and turns. Loved it!
