Fast paced and well written. Examines the relationship between a teen and his older brother home from Afghanistan and suffering from PTSD. Difficult to read at times but still well worth sticking with it.

Great Falls by Steve Watkins was a great book to include in my classroom library. My students loved the fast-paced, suspenseful nature of the story and seeing how Jeremy and Shane's relationship played out during their excursion. Watkins demonstrated to students in Great Falls how siblings can care for each other and how we can take care of our veterans. Many students after reading Great Falls found a passion for researching more about veteran affairs and how to support the people who protect our country.
