Shann Ray does a fantastic job in writing this book, it had that collection of five novellas that I was hoping for from the description. It had that writing style that I was wanting and enjoyed the overall feel of this. Each one was so well written and was engaged from start to finish.

This book was kind of a difficult read for me. there wasn't anything BAD about it, but because I live close to where some of the book takes place, I felt distracted and taken out of the story at various points. The writing wasn't bad. The formatting of the book made it somewhat difficult to read. the bones of the story are very good. I think it just needs another round or two of edits. would i recommend the book? With caveats.
