This was a great biography of Walter “Eckie” Eckersall, I really didn't know anything about him and thought it worked well overall. It was researched well and was able to convey the elements perfectly to the reader. It brought Walter to life in this and enjoyed getting to learn about the rise of Chicago sports. Chris Serb has a strong writing style and was glad I was able to read this.
