This is an adorable alphabet book with an excellent rhyming scheme. I appreciate that it is not referencing typical items that are connected with each letter, so it is also expanding the vocabulary of young readers. This would be a great asset to any home library or early elementary and preschool classrooms.

What a fun storybook. It applies letters to contemporary words. The story is fun and entertaining. I read this with my granddaughter. It was a hit.

Thank you to NetGalley and Capstone for the ARC of How to Teach Your Monster the ABCs. This book is a fun and fresh take on the classic ABCs rhyming books. I liked being able to go back through to look for the capital letters, that was a fun little side quest. I think this one will circulate well in our collection.

Sweet, modern take on the traditional "A is for apple..." ABC format. A girl and her cute monster go exploring, looking for words that match letters. Would love to read at storytime!! Thanks for the ARC!

Thank you for the ARC. My son is really getting into learning his ABCs and this was such a cute and fun rhyming book with excellent pictures.

My little ones absolutely love having this one read aloud to them. As ones is learning to read, he and I enjoyed the examples of each letter not only being used in the sentence but also the illustrations. He enjoyed findings the letters has they were placed around the illustrations of that word. The guide in the back for parents is a wonderful resource. A beautiful, educational story.

This is such a fun and engaging way to introduce the alphabet to little learners!
I read this book with my children (ages 3 and 5), and it was an absolute hit during our bedtime reading. My son, who just started kindergarten, is beginning to focus more on letters and sound recognition, and this book provided the perfect mix of playfulness and learning. The silly monster theme kept both of my kids entertained.
What I appreciated most is that the book doesn’t just run through the ABCs in a basic way, it adds humor and creativity that made my kids eager to participate. As a parent, I’m always looking for books that make learning feel natural and exciting, and this one definitely delivered.
We’ll definitely be rereading this one again and again!

As someone who is currently struggling to help their child learn their letters, and associate them to words, this book was so fun to read. I love the rhyming flow, and the illustrations kept him occupied while I read and quizzed him. Thank you!
