As a national park lover - and two time visitor to Yellowstone NP, I enjoyed learning more about the national park and the major players in its history. This book delves beyond YNP itself and even references other parks and federal lands in the west (there's even a few mentions of some of the early eastern park units). Wilson also discusses the wildlife and impacts of climate change on the ecosystems of the park, including protections and controversies surrounding decisions made. This is one of the more thorough books I've read/listened to regarding the national parks. As I listened to an ALC, the narrator, Phil Thron, held my attention and did a great job.
Thanks to NetGalley and High Bridge Audio/RB Media for the ALC copy of this book!
