An engaging and informative read for children beginning to explore the very famous superheroes of DC comics. Author Benjamin Harper focuses on the big 3: Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman.
The book is engaging and easy to follow. Kids will enjoy the illustrations and find the text to be a very quick way to get introduced to superheros and comic books in general. While the stories can be basic, comics are a great way to encourage children (and adults!) to find interest in the arts and literature specifically.
Overall, I would recommend this book to readers who are excited by DC Comics and all their extensive publications have to offer...

This was a very informative book on the history of DC comics. I really enjoyed it. Though it was a little over my son's head, he really enjoyed the pictures and illustrations. This is perfect for any DC fan!

Thanks so much to NetGalley for the free Kindle book. My review is voluntarily given, and my opinions are my own.
This was a great book to help younger readers learn more about DC and how comics are created in general. Even for adult, this is a great book, as the artwork is absolutely amazing. I wish I could buy every book I wanted 😍 . I'd be happy with being able to read every book I want to 😀
This book includes some of the best characters from DC; my absolute favorite being Wonder Woman. Even though this isn't a long book, there still are so many facts about each character, some that I either never knew or forgot. Enjoyed this so much and would definitely recommend!

Such a fun guide for people interested in getting into DC comics! As a long-time comics reader, I loved revisiting the origins of some of my favorite heroes.
This colorful edition brings just about everything that makes comics so great: compelling characters, interesting storylines and beautiful art (the throwback to the animated series style and the curiosities about comics creation were so nice).
A quick and fun journey through DC Comics history.
