What a jaw-dropping book! The twists were amazing, and I didn’t figure out so many of them. I couldn’t put it down, and it definitely kept me guessing until the end. It was gripping, pulse-pounding, and a wild, fast-paced read that I highly recommend!

The Woman Downstairs is a rollercoaster of a ride maintaining its pace from the first page to the last. I knew I was going to be captivated by this story of revenge from the very first chapter.
I love the author’s style of writing, Scottish crime with a sense of humour, and vividly drawn characters. The narrative revolves around two neighbours and as the plot thickens you start to wonder who’s really hiding the truth and who to root for. I thoroughly enjoyed the gripping storyline, told exclusively from the points of view of the two main characters, which is full of suspense and overflowing with revenge.
This is a fun, twisty read with a stunning conclusion, and is one of my favourite reads this year so far.

Wow this is a really dark thriller with a twist I did not see coming. When her new neighbour Chloe moves into the flat downstairs Diane’s life is thrown upside down. She can’t seem to avoid the girl and trouble seems to be following her everywhere. What is this girl up to and why is she dragging her into trouble that could cause her to end up in jail. This is dark and a great read so don’t miss it!!!

Diane gets a new neighbour who has moved into the basement flat. Their first meeting is not quite that friendly, but Diane stays to have some wine.
Strange things start to happen, and Chloe is always there, and Chloe needs Diane to help her.
I quite enjoyed this book.
Diane's anxiety is contagious. I felt very uneasy reading this book.
I wasn't sure which POV was real - Diane's or Chloe's...... who copied who in the decorating of the flats?
The twists were good, not predictable. The male characters were unlikeable.

This book was tense, twisty and a real page turner of a read that will keep you up late! Some of the twists in this book left my jaw on the floor. And the ending blew me away. Outstanding!
I found this book impossible to put down and finally turned the last page at 1am. Yes. this book is that good! MUST READ!
I absolutely flew through it in one sitting and it genuinely was unputdownable! A true page turner absolutely rammed with suspense, tension and everything you want when you read a psychological thriller.

When Diane meets her new neighbor, they share wine and phone numbers. Soon, though, Diane realizes Chloe may not be who she thinks she is. What has she gotten into with her new neighbor?
