A good read but not as believable as the books I usually go for - definitely need to be open to the incredible as you read it. The pace is non-stop fast and I liked the way the author gradually exposed the characters’ natures, especially the male protagonist who had more layers than I originally expected. The sense of a closed door mystery on a deserted island added the to the sense of desperation and hopelessness, making the end result all the more exciting.

Great book! Emily meets rich guy Marcus and is off on a whirlwind romance. Before too long, she finds herself trapped and unable to leave. Will she survive?? Little too much sex in this book for me, but great suspense and I couldn’t put it down!

Side note I guess this is a reprint or something as I saw it an Amazon from 2024.

This book was tense, twisty and a real page turner of a read that will keep you up late! Some of the twists in this book left my jaw on the floor. And the ending blew me away. Outstanding!
