this was a really moving book that was full of so much love, so much story telling beauty. i was swept up and along with learning the story of these two and really cared about how they would end up and their story in between.
this is about two people who meet over decades. they meet but never get together. there is love,tension and chemistry. and you are left waiting and wondering how these two didn't get together. aren't together. and why? what happened over the time to keep their lives separate but also keep coming together. and what in this final meeting is left for them. is this it, the time they know is right?
i really enjoyed this book and the musical notes throughout. it felt like reading an extended love song. and we were seeing the video play out too.
there is the old lack of communication which made me want to shake them sometimes, but that also made them very human. i was just thinking how this would turn out at the start. but by the end i couldn't look away and now i need to know what was going to happen. would we even find out? has too much time passed lives lived to far apart? you see i had questions! and that is when you know you've hit a good book. when you now care about whats going to happen to the characters.
i really love the premise of this book. and all the little notes were authentic and different. it was the right balance of emotional, fun and meaningful.
