⚔️ Children of Ash: A Fantasy That's Worth the Hype ⚔️
🌍 The World-Building is Top-Notch
Allison Anderson has created a world that feels both ancient and alive. It’s full of detailed magic systems, warring factions, and characters with complex motivations. It’s the kind of book where you can get completely lost in the lore, and it makes you want to live in this world—even with all the danger.
🤔 The Morally Gray Characters Are Everything
One of the best things about this book is that no one is truly good or evil. The characters are all trying to do the right thing, but "the right thing" is different for everyone. It makes for a compelling and unpredictable story, and it forces you to question your own loyalties.
🌱 A Protagonist Who Feels Real
The main character is relatable and flawed. She doesn't always make the right choices, but she's doing her best to navigate a tough world. It's refreshing to see a hero who struggles and learns from her mistakes, and you'll find yourself rooting for her every step of the way.
