This was a book and it was multiple people whose storyline somehow all tie together. It was really good and you wanted to see how they all end up.
I recommend this book it was good and moving.
Thank you NetGalley and publishers for the arc

i love books like this. where you have multiple characters who cross over and arc in some small ways or major ways like in this book. and it all revolved around the other character... the bridge.
its Christmas Eve and like we all do the people crossing or coming to this location are all thinking or going to their plans. some are more urgent, some are more quiet but all in all everyone has their destinations. but that comes a scupper when an event on this bridge takes a turn and means their plans are pushed out of sight. perhaps permanently.
Police Sergeant Archer is called to the bridge to stop a man from jumping. and its this incident and closing of the bridge the lends a ripple throughout many going forward. because when this man decides to end it he pulls his car across the lane of the bridge road causing the crashed and chaos to ensue.
Rosalee is expecting her baby soon. but shes pushing to get last minute work bits done when she remembers a file and phone left at home.
Nova is a nurse. she had a long shift and just needs to get home, finish her last minute to-do's.
Carter owns a car towing business.
Ian is on his way to a job interview but is running late. and its Kate that picks him up for a ride share.
what i love about this book is how the different POV really give us the different ways in which even one such event can change peoples lives or effect them. usually in this kind of thing you might see it on the news or you might just be living in your own personal experience of it. this way we get to see others points of view and how some might be desperate without us even thinking or knowing about it.is it something that makes a turn for people, for good for bad? how will the ripple last and can anything good come from it? is a special little life at risk?
Shanna worked this book seamlessly. it all tied together. it all worked so well. i was hooked from beginning to end and was in deep with each person differing story. i wanted to know how they would all turn out and in the end how this might tie up. and let me tell you Shanna did so to perfection. i read this book in one sitting and it wasn't a chore let me tell you. it was not. it was a blissed out afternoon with a stunning read.
