A second-chance romance set in a small-town in Texas Hill Country on a vineyard? 🍇 Say no more! This book is the epitome of fall vibes and the romance between Hannah & Callan was so beautifully written it was easy to fall in love with these characters.

In search of finding herself in the midst of a messy, high-profile divorce, Hannah heads back home to Texas in hopes of healing her heart and to rediscover herself. The last thing that she expected to do was run into her high school ex-boyfriend, Callan.

Callan is now a single Dad whose focus is on raising his daughter and running his family’s vineyard. Seeing Hannah walk into his family’s vineyard wasn’t something he saw coming.

“The entire world except for Callan disappeared. All she could see was him, all she could hear was him, all she could feel was him, his finger slipping from her lips to the bottom of her chin where he tipped her head up.”

These characters will have you swooning as they re-discover each other in such a beautiful way that is so good for the soul. 🩷

If you’re looking for the perfect, tasteful fall-romance, this book is for you! 🍂

J. Collette Smith has a strong writing style has a strong sequel vibe to the Falls Hollow series. I really enjoyed the second-chance concept of this book, it had that element that I was looking for and was hooked from the first page. It uses the romance element perfectly and was hooked and thought the overall storyline worked with the characters. The characters had that development worked in this storyline and was glad it was so well done.

im a sucker for comforting book right now. and this was just what i needed and could wish for in that kind of feel. this book had all the things we want this time of year too. the weather is changing, there is a nip in the air. we are changing duvets and picking out the cardigans and hoodies again. so to scoop this book up and feel like its scooping you up too felt really nice.
this is a sweet second chance romance where you can feel the deep and emotional affection pouring from the pages.
the setting for this book was on a vineyard our main characters are Hannah and Callan. they both come to this story with their own pasts they both come to this story with things going in in their present.
Hannah has been through a tough time being blindsided by her ex. her perfect life crumples so she decides to just get away from him and leaves. she goes to a place she knows she was happy once. she wreckons she is going for one thing, but she might just be about to find out she will be finding a whole lot more. and perhaps this was the path she was always meant to be on, always meant to get to.
Callan has been left in his own kind of shock since his ex left him and his daughter. all he can and will focus on is making sure she is ok, making her happy and a life for them both. but when that familiar face looks back at him he cant help but feel moved. he cant help but be drawn to this woman that never really left his heart.
could this be just the time for them? could this be what both of them needed all along...each other?
this was a gentle and tender book. you are bought right into this lovely little community and it feels like a place you'd easily want to be yourself.
there is charm in watching our two get to know each other again. they are such good people and its nice to just get to see good people, lol. i was rooting for them and really wanted it to all work out for them. the whole book was a win for me.

Call me predictable, but small-town second chance romances are a recipe for success, and this one was no exception.

I especially loved the setting in this story. Texas Hill Country, a vineyard, and those cozy autumn vibes made it so easy to slip into Hannah and Callan’s world. As the book says, “Falls Hollow was sprinkling its small-town magic all over her and she relished every second of it” and honestly, that line sums up the charm of this book perfectly.

This story got me right in the feels, with my heart breaking at times for Hannah as she pieced her life back together. The journey of life, with all its twists and turns, and often ending up not where you thought you would be, is something so relatable and beautifully portrayed here.

What I love most about these kinds of books is that they’re such easy, cozy reads—you can devour them in a single sitting and come away completely satisfied with the ending. Plus, they always leave me daydreaming about packing up, moving to a small town, sipping wine, and making jam in a little cottage of my own.

A heartfelt, touching read that will leave you smiling, aching, maybe even a little teary (okay, fine—full on misty-eyed, but in the best way), and rooting for forever love.
