The kids and I love the Food Group series by Jory John, and The Big Cheese is a frequent book choice for read-alouds. We also own the audiobook, which is a favorite of both my sons. I was so excited to see a holiday version of The Big Cheese on audio, as I had already pre-ordered the physical book from Barnes and Noble during a sale.

The audio did not disappoint, with a special message about learning to appreciate friends and family, and that while big celebrations with big gifts and lots of extra perks are enjoyable, the most important thing is good company, and sharing joy. The Big Cheese learns that simplicity is a good thing, and kids learn about changing one's mindset. A win win!

I highly recommend this audiobook for schools, libraries, and families to enjoy.
