I love second chance romances, but only if they're done right. The synopsis sucked me in (princes and Christmas, hello), and I was eager to jump right in. I love that Demetrius and Zoe secretly eloped and then everything fell apart and they separated before the book begins. His playboy ways and her family issues drew them apart, and a misunderstanding has left things in a very weird place for them. Demetrius has straightened his life up and requests her help with an ulterior motive. She quickly accepts because she needs the money. And of course, they both begin to realize their feelings of love for each other never went away. Demetrius is very caring and sweet, and Zoe frustrated me because she wouldn't just talk to him! But I still loved their romance and thought it was pretty swoony at the end. A great Christmas romance!
