I know I'm kinda going backwards, but what can I say, I got pulled in. I'm a music lover and one of the later books in this series caught my eye and I read it as a standalone. But of course I fell in love with the other characters and had to go back and read the book that I missed. This is the first book and I needed to know how it all started. What a story it is...sigh. ♥

Taking a trip back to the 80's, Gabe showed us how he fell into modeling accidentally and how that evolved into acting. And who should he meet on the set of his first movie? A rockstar of course. Who would of guessed they would end up being roommates on set, forming an unlikely friendship?

I really enjoyed this trip down memory lane as I got a closer look at the lives of the characters that I would later become so attached to. I enjoyed it so much, that now I want to go back and read the other books again because I was reminded how amazing they are. The family dynamic, the music biz, the heartbreak and the laughs. So much goodness in this Unexpected series. I'll most definitely be looking for more from this author. The line forms here...
