“The Bravery Effect” is a parable that teaches the latest science on how we process and can grow to be brave. The parable is not a long parable and an enjoyable and relatable tale. Every step along the way, it is easy to see yourself in the story, no matter what your position is in life.

The audiobook is read by Corey Snow. His voice is easy to listen to and quite engaging.

There are several principles of this book that stood out to me, but toward the very beginning, you learn about the power of the word “yet”. That lesson alone is worth the price of the book. But there is so much more.

This book would be great for middle schoolers and high schoolers, as well as the intended business professional. In a day and age when anxiety is at epic proportions, this lesson is powerful and can have a lasting impact. Well done, Jill Schulman.
