This is book 2 in a cozy mystery series. I haven't read book 1, but this was ok anyways. I might go back and read the first instalment.

A reasonably interesting tale of the food scene in Portland, in the US, with a side order of murder. I found the heroine to be a bit annoying, but did like the interplay between her bodyguard and mysterious accountant. It's better than it sounds!
The best part about the plot is that it doesn't make it clear early on exactly who is the murderer - there are sufficient suspects and the plot takes enough small twists that we don't find out the culprit until near the end.
How nice it would be to really eat all that chocolate without it affecting one's figure! Ah well, we can at least read about it.

Dangerously Dark by author Colette London is the second installment in the Chocolate Whisper mystery series. First of all, I love the title and cover - mysteries and chocolate are two of my favorite things, and Ms. London combined them both! The mystery was well-written (Hayden Mundy Moore is a very likeable character which makes a book much more enjoyable in my opinion), and did keep me guessing as to the identity of the murderer until the end. I liked the addition of a little bit of romance to the story....everything I want in a cozy! A+
