I really enjoyed this.
I thought it was something really sister with someone in the book but it twisted like a Cork screw bend!
It had mean girl vibes and single white female vibes at times .
It was so good!

Emotional, raw, and suspenseful. This domestic thriller pulls you into a story of motherhood, loss, and impossible choices. The tension is balanced beautifully with heart, and the ending leaves you reeling.

Hannah and her best friend, Libby, go on a spa weekend, where Libby talks about issues she is having with her husband. Then, Libby disappears. Hannah is convinced that something happened to her and that Matt is behind it. Hannah sets out to find the truth. Then the author changes to Libby to show us what she thinks about Hannah and Matt. Just what is going on here?? And is everyone safe?

Hannah and Libby are close friends. They do everything together, and Hannah has been accepted as one of the family, even by Libby's husband.
After a weekend away, Hannah is ghosted by Libby, and has no idea why. She has to find out if Libby is alright.
I was transfixed to the pages of this book.
The story is so twisty and twisted. And creepy. And Tense!
When you think you know where the story is taking you, you find yourself totally turned around.
Imagine forest paths, following one, and then finding yourself on a completely different path.
It's insane and so are some of the characters!
This is why I love Alison Stockham's books. She is the Master of Deception.

Thank you to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for providing this book, with my honest review below. Really enjoyed this one! One lost best friend kept the pages turning!! Rainy day read and a cup of a coffee with this one and you are set!

I really liked this book! Hannah’s bff suddenly drops her and Hannah can’t figure out why. She is convinced Libby is in trouble and her husband is out to get her. Then the book switches to Libby and we see things are not what we originally thought. Just what is going on with Libby? Loved this book. Good suspense.

This was so so good definitely worth reading with a coffee while it rains
Definitely recommend reading
10/10

This was gritty and slightly claustrophobic.
The characters were well written but pretty awful.
I read this in two large sittings desperate to find out what the hell was going on!
Like the saying goes with friends like this who needs enemies!
My thanks to netgalley and the publisher for my copy.

Thanks to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for this Advanced Reader’s Copy of Let Her Go by Alison Stockham due to be published November 17, 2025.
When Libby vanishes, Hannah, her best friend, is shocked. What is wrong? Why has Libby ghosted her? Hannah, Libby, and Libby’s husband Matt had always been best friends. What happened to Libby?
This one seemed to go on and on just wondering what happened to Libby. The characters were never really developed and all were slightly annoying. I did finish the book, but it was not one of my favorites.

This book had so much potential. By 20% in I was ready to pull my hair out. The character development was lacking and was very inconsistent.
It drive me insane that the three main characters were supposed best of friends, yet Hannah walked on eggshells around the others. If she were truly concerned she wouldn't have been leery of contacting Matt or the police. It just didn't make sense and just didn't excite me to read further.
