I read this to my 9-year-old son. Owls are his favorite animal. Boys are the appropriate audience for this book. Because there are owl pellets and owl bathroom breaks onto heads. Everything happens at night. Because owls are nocturnal. A fun, but slightly gross book (which is pretty much what boys of that age like.) Thanks to the publisher for the ARC.

And to think, I had never thought about what would happen if an owl were a teacher. Thank goodness for this book, because now I know what a terrible idea that is! This book is so cute and funny.

Read this one with my kiddo first thing when we got approved and we love it! It’s so silly and fun. The pictures are beautiful too, we appreciate the diversity represented.

This is a wonderful book. It's funny, it's bound to keep kids interested and it will squeeze in a little science about owls as well. I hope the ending portends more books like this one. "Owls Make Terrible Teachers" deafinitely be on everyone's list.
